I absolutely love my mum to bits. I can share anything and everything with her, she is like a best friend!

well i donn't know how bad your mom is, but my mom 95% of the times can careless about others feelings. She is soo not the typical mom from pakistan thou she came here in the 70s but she cooks like 1 in 2weeks. But some where deep deep deep down there she loves the crap out of me. So now that i'm grown up i have realized that. She/dad never really raised my sister and i, because they are workaholics. And she made a lot of wrong decisions for me which are effecting me now, but she didn't know any better, so i can forgive her without ever having this convo with her. all you can do is correct your parents wrong decisions on your own childern.

are you in your teens, until the age of 18 i really did not appreciate my mum at all now that im away from her at uni i love her 1000 times than i ever realised!

No I am in my early 30ths i have got 1 child. I always had a very strict upbringing no wearing western clothes, no going out with friends. did not get to go to college did apprenticeship and got job as soon as i left school. got married at 18 was parents choice turned out to be the best husband in the world. I have never been close to my mum like where u can share everything from a-z with your mother. always got insults and shouts for no reason. even now will not stop. i sometimes felt like a stepchild. mother-in-law has been a better mother than my my own i can share every thing with her.

I'm sorry that people here assumed a lot of things! But i'm happy that your relationship with your step mom is great. See when people say that they love their mom more then anything, i don't understand because she made some of the worst decisions for me without ever caring for. And some how with the help of my bf i learned to forgive her and i never want her to feel like she did something wrong, because nothing positive will come out of it .

me too......sometimes i day dream about something like biryani or pasta or something and then when i get home its made for me, WITHOUT ME EVEN ASKING MUM TO MAKE IT...its like she knows me so well she knows what im thinking......i love her :{

...i miss my mom..it has been 2 years since i last saw her and the worst part is i wont be going to meet her this year too:(...and the years that I have been away from her made me realize how much i love her

sometimes when i come home, im soooo hungry. But then i see there's nothing in fridge nd that makes me soo frustrated. But my mom comes and says, Go and pray namaz first, I will make something for you. I LOVE MY MOM! And not only that, she knows everything that's inside me, like any problem or tension, without me telling her about it!

BUT, I LOVE MY DAD 2. he's the best dad ever!

I love my mom for all the small things she does for me everyday. Alhamdullilah I have been blessed and I live inly 5 minutes away from her after getting married so I can see my family whenever I desire. Like they say, its the small things in life that count and that is so true when it comes to my mommy! Its the way she hugs me, or gives me advice on everything, always offering me more of her clothes and jewelry lol, making my favorite dishes and never letting me lift a finger around the home. I love her!!
