I gained 40lbs during my first pregnancy. I still have 15lbs to lose. Meh. Don’t know how much I’ll gain this time …

I am, very careful. I try to healthy but hubby bought those snickers ice cream packs and I’ve been eating those (at midnight when everyone’s asleep 
for a couple of days now) Dont know what to do … I can’t help it

If not much, atleast some of the weight gain in rather necessary in order to combat the need of nutrition and energy to get the two (mom and the baby) going. Just as akmoti said, about 12 kg is a must almost for a healthy pregnancy. Literally starving just being scared of weight gain is being insensitive IMHO.
The KEY should be eating HEALTHY. For you as well as the baby. I dont think healthy diet should make you obese. You can always control and lose weight once you have delivered if you put a serious effort to it. Just do not be CRUEL to the baby for your figure and weight consciousness. :(

Anyways I heard something today which scared my guts. I dont know if there is any truth to it, just sharing with you people to be corrected and know better.
So someone told me today that from sixth month the baby start to directly take the intake of its food from yours. Like there was some who ate an apple and didnt chew it properly so it stuck in the baby’s throat or something while being in the womb. Does it have any truth or sense into it? If it is, I am scared, because I am never mindful of chewing the food well before swallowing, so what if

^^That is not even possible...!!...Unless the baby is growing inside the stomach,there is no way it can choke on an apple piece..and babies do not grow in the stomach..!

After the school run this morning i stopped at Asda to pick up some fruit and saw that George have sale going on so of course I couldn't resist. I picked up my first mini installment of baby things, not much just a pack of to unisex body suits and a cute rabbit cream colour baby knitted blanket both were a bargain. Aawww feel like its really real now. Just wanted to share this with you girls!
