my eldest was like that…I breast fed him 14 months and he wouldn’t sleep unless he nursed…I had to wean him because we were starting out second round of fertility treatments. i starerd trying to stop nursing around 12 months and he was fine during the day with his sippy cup. bir nights were a problem. The only thing that worked for me was quitting cold turkey and letting him cry it out. It was 2 nights of agony but by the 3rd night he was asleep on his own and slept through the night. I usually am not in favor of the crying it out method but in this case I was at the end of my rope with a very dheet bacha!
