so do these western papers ever consider someone hero…like..if they were your typical stereotypical western gal who was say, some stripper or soemthing…and she somehow converted to islam and started living a pious person’s life… would she be classified as ‘hero’ by the media… bcoz she is going against whats typical/expected of her??

Good point. Hollywood director Oliver Stone’s son converted to Islam this week and everybody is ridiculing him in the yahoo comments I read (even though he said he is not turning his back on his Judo-Christian heritage).
