LONDON: Following the 13th consecutive defeat of Pakistan from Australia in Test cricket, chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ijaz Butt has called Mohammad Yousuf for the tour of England.
Sources said that the PCB chairman has asked former captain Yousuf to take back retirement on which **the veteran batsman agreed in the interest of the country and the nation. **
It may be recalled that Yousuf was banned for an indefinite period after the tour of Australia after which he announced to retire from all forms of cricket.
After the two-Test series against Australia in England, Pakistan cricket team will play a four-Test series against England.

I am not against Yousuf's recall but the way he is recalled after the defeat against Australia is debatable. First they put Yousuf on a pedestal and make him captain despite knowing that he is not captaincy material, then ban him and he is nobody, then as expected do a u-turn and ask him to come back. All this spoils the players who are just as unprofessional as the board
It also puts enormous pressure on Azhar Ali and Umar Amin, both showed great promise in the second innings
Now this stubborn guy who wasn't willing to let go of captaincy is now willing to play under anyone? Has he gone through a fitness test? When was the last time he played?
Big names don't deliver on the field. It's the performance.
I can only hope for that Yousuf will repeat the glory of his last tour to Australia...banned and than retired...but still back...what a bunch of dumbos...lol
other comedy acts of his aside, even if he has not lift a bat in last 6 months, he will still beat ordinary lot which is the part of current batting lineup. Although I believe he should not be recalled for Aus series. If he is recalled eventually, he should play as many side games as possible...

True. I jazz Butt (He has jazzed Pak Crick) was saying that Yousuf would be recalled for Eng series and play the warmup game before the first test.
It is going to complicate things further.
