I think Karachi-Punjab rift is as old as Pakistan. MQM came into being in 1977. And probably these two were the main responsible people for fall of Dhaka in 1971.

I smell conspiracy. The poster has a hidden agenda to incite hatred among Mohajirs and non-mohajirs of Pakistani people. No conflict there enough to incite hatred.

Differences are just minor, workable, negotiable differences and at the end of day ALL Pakistasni are UNITED.

Bravo brother. Our family is like settled all over Punjab and Karachi, there are numerous inter-marriages and other links between the so-called "Urdu speakings" and us.

There are no differences at all. Frankly, the Karachi trash-class is exploited by goons like Altaf Hussain for their political ends. My parents as Punjabis grew up in Karachi and to this day are in love with that city. It's only the lower class which has had problems I guess, and with the MQM creation that sentiment has been further exploited and magnified. Altaf Hussain just needs to go. Probably to Hell :D

This mohajir crap has to be stopped. You live in Paklistan so you are a pakistani. Millions of people migrated from India in 1947 and settled all over Pakistan. About 75% of those who migrated settled in Panjab. No one calls themselves mohajir anymore except the people in Karachi. How many of those who migrated in 1947 are still alive? May be 15 % or even less. That means all the other so called mohajirs were born and bred in Pakistan. They got educated and made their money in Pakistan. So what is this Mohajir business? Get out of this stupid Mohajir shell and start showing your loyalty to Pakistan where you eat and live. Or do you plan to go back to India? If that is the case then hurry the F* up and get out of Pakistan and go where your loyalties are and where you find comfort. Its about time to stop this hypocritical attitude. **
