no one can be totally unbiased, but we try to find people who can be as fair is possible even if they have to go against their en personal views on a subject, and it is tough to do.

in addition to what X2 said ..
this is to clarify that no one comes with a life time contract. Mods are human too and they can make mistakes. Director is a human also and he can make a wrong choice to begin with. No one is looking for a flawless person, but a person who joins the team without any agenda, a person who is willing to learn from his/her mistakes, a person who realizes that there is no arrival syndrome here and he/she needs to groom while on the job.
Most of the time people have to leave the team (involuntary leaving) if they refuse to learn, have a personal agenda or do something unethical.
