@Southie - let us take a step back and analyse the situation objectively. Discrimination happens. It happens in every country. India is no exception. Has the percentage of discrimination increased dramatically after Modi govt came in.
If there was widespread discrimination and prejudice as claimed by people with common sense, we would have seen mass movement of muslims out of Mumbai/India. As far as I know, there is no such thing happening.
We have to understand that an Ideal society is utopia and not feasible. Also it needs to be understood that there will be rotten apples always. Has the number of rotten apples reached a level where common man is affected. I do not think so at this point in time.

I don't have stats on whether these incidents have increased under Modi.
Re discrimination wrt flat ownership in Mumbai , are you implying there are only a few rotten apples?
As for the statement if it was happening there woukd be mass exodus, exodus to where? It is not that easy to just pick up and leave.
Finally, it is OK to ACKNOWLEDGE that a problem exists. That does not make someone or some country lesser.
My stance was that the problem exists everywhere but in some countries it is more. In India I still believe it is still nothing to be worried about.
I am no fan of Modi and I certainly believe that he and his party are doing their best to create the problem so as to polarize the voters. That said it has achieved little results due to the fact that we have people who can think for themselves.
