Even if they themselves choose to work as construction workers, I’m just shocked at the fact that the Arabs don’t have the humanity to provide them with better living conditions.

Don't you know why so many Prophets were sent to Arab lands ?

OH MY GOD, have you seen the roads in Dubai? Total CHAKAS! Seen the cars? Barian! Houses? Lajawab. Hotels? we were floored. Wah Wah, Dubia kya jaga hai. Deen bhi hay, Dunia bhi hay.

All that is blood money of poor people , Dubai is not an oil rich state , I guess you know that.

Have you seen Burj Al Arab? WOWOWOW! I was like on the floor. Have you seen the new building they are making? It is going to be the tallest in the world. WOW! You even hear azaan in Dubai. Kya baat hai, madren living with religious over tones.

The first time i went to Dubai, I found it depressing, but i didn't understand why.

The second time i went, i stayed for longer, and after about 3 days i wanted to go back to England.

Then it struck me, it was bcos of 3 things -

Everything is artificial and very much contrived, very unnatural.

I was saddened to see the labourers perched on scaffolding in the 42 degrees heat, hammering away on the facades of these fancy buildings.

When I stepped outside, I found it difficult to breathe bcos it was so hot and humid. Imagine how the workers felt, in the heat of the day, unshaded.

One thing i do appreciate very much about England is that EQUALITY does exist and is practiced on the most part here. In Dubai, there definitely exists a tier society. I was treated very well there, but I believe its only bcos everyone thought I was either English or Arab, i don't look like an Asian, however, it was depressing to see people from Pakistan, Phillipines or other countries treated as inferior.

Nowadays when I go there, i tend not to dwell on these things, bcos theres no escaping it, and i focus on the positives - main one being that we can enjoy ourselves as muslims!

All rich arab countries have worst labour policies.
Throughout the years, there have been countless incidents of workers being physically abused and robbed of their dues by their crooked local sponsors. Many face various forms of discrimination almost on a daily basis. Some of the worse cases are severe physical abuse of housemaids,virtual imprisonment of housemaids,rape of housemaids,,non-payment of salaries,manipulation of work contracts by exploiting the employee into signing off his/her fixed rights, such as holidays, travel tickets, and residence permit renewal fee which are to be provided by the employer by default,despicable, almost inhuman form of accommodation, provided to many menial workers.
Open discrimination at workplaces on account of nationality and ethnicity.

Arabs have worst superiority complexes ....

Its a mad world out dere!.
