Moderation of Islam means changing islam to justify all wrong...so basically its haraam in islam.

Meray pyaaray bhai (and I mean it - you are indeed my brother) ... I do not spell it out for a reason and that is because I want you to think. God asks you not to transgress OR to fall short of due balance. As such, this is one condition to be muslim (submitting to His Word)

JAK. You know there can be many interpretations of moderation considering what we take as our reference point i.e. I think in this case we are taking just being muslim as the reference point (perhaps the opener of this thread can clarify that). If that is the case then it would be those are not practicing it at all or just ignoring things in the religion and those muslims who are practicing it incorrectly and refuse to think about what it is they practice or should I say close the door on rationality during their practice.

Its like being on a diet :) You shouldn't eat nothing- that's unhealthy. But you also shouldn't eat EVERYTHING- because that's unhealthy too. Being too zealous in any direction, without the ability to keep your actions from becoming too intense, is a bad thing. You need to be flexible and accepting of different situations/ideas to a certain degree- doesn't mean you have to agree with them, but you can accept them for what they are.

A moderate is a sellout...he does the bits of Islam that the West encourage and he rejects the bits of Islam the West doesnt like...his master isnt Allah but the West...thats moderation for you...
