I totally agree that efforts should be made to bring the community in flow but not at the cost of wrongly charging a police officer.

The prosecutor was not favored by the community to handle this case. Only one out of 10000 cases do not make it to trial. This guy tried his hardest for trial NOT to occur.

Whatever the problems the Afro-American community is facing is because of the White people. This sounds very racist to me. I mean, out of all the races in U.S., Black people spend the most time watching TV. Why is that?

There is racism in US but there is slightly something wrong with the black community too.

Now Southie is going to bring up the Muslim Issue. But unlike the Muslim Countries the Black Countries aren’t getting invaded by the US. Besides, Muslim isn’t a race.

I know the history of Africans in Europe…but this is not what I was talking about. I would blame the capitalistic society of US and not any colour in particular for the current situation. I think South Asians have the tendency to progress and break through the financial class, but the black community on the other hand, has lost hope. If it’s entirely a race issue then it should be affecting Latino and South Asians too…and they should be reacting to it in the same manner as the black community.

Pretty sure South Asians are famous for their gang rape, prostitution, terrorist organisation. pretty sure mexicans are famous for their cartel and gun violence. Also uh Asians…? If you mean Japan, China, and South Korea then xenophobia, gang rape, molestation, soliciting, porn etc etc

All countries have police brutality… not many have that many gun violence incidents like America does.

America was built on the backs of blacks. The recent comments about African Americans in this thread are truly racist.

In India we have the likes of Subramanian Swami, who bait non Hindus and defend Hinduism at all costs. Elsewhere, we have folks who offer root causes as plausible explanation for wrongs committed by their community- which is a valid argument.

But when it comes to African Americans, the same set of folks not only refuse to consider root causes. But bring up ignorant statements to bolster their case against them.

How does one claim to be religious? Yet be so prejudiced?

It won’t end at all. I mean come on. Remember how America was outraged about gun violence etc… has anything changed??? No. America still has crazy people holding onto their guns… shooting up people every few months.

if you are suggesting that no matter what happens things will not change then that’s a defeatist attitude…and I refuse to be party to that.

Just because people become more aware of things doesn’t mean anything will change. Slowly the numbers of people who are becoming ‘aware’ are increasing, but when there are people who refuse to believe that racism does exist. Not to mention having a “bad guy” helps keep the white man happy.

first of all…let’s not get personal and leave member’s names out of it. I’m sure you are intelligent enough to convey your thoughts without referring to Hareem.
secondly…I’m not suggesting that things will change immediately…but awareness does lead to change because without awareness you have no hope. When awareness spreads, people get involved. When people get involved things move.

if you are suggesting that the fault or root cause of this inequity lies completely with the “white people” then I have to disagree with that.
this has been a long-standing struggle that continues today and both sides have contributed to it.
circumstances, mainly economic, have definitely laid the advantage squarely on one side more than the other but that’s not to say that African Americans, at times, have not used the racism card unfairly either.

The future and solution.

The black guys looted and robbed dozens of shops and people and on top killed two Brit-Pakistanis in UK in London riots…they bahaved in the same manner as the mob in US. But once a black person becomes muslim, he changes. I’ve seen and met some amazing muslims from the black community in the west. Only Islam can pacify them. My two cents.

You are being racist. Saying that black people can only be pacified because of a religion is bigoted… saying that Obama was only elected because of his skin colour is also bigoted. Very evident that you don’t actually have friends who are African because if they knew what you thought.
