That jury did not see all the evidence. They saw what the DA wanted to see. So even if they are not part of the cover up, they have limited information to use to make a decision. Like Shamraz pointed out in a grand jury there is no defense testimony to refute what the DA presents. DA and the police have a symbiotic relationship. They will always have each other’s backs. I am against floating conspiracy theories myself, but in this case there is a reason to.
Now for the black neighborhoods; isnt that the crux of the problem here. The mutual distrust. In Ferguson, the police force is disproportionately white and is responsible for policing a majority black population. You cannot compare that to South LA or Newark, where the whole police force is filled with african americans and latinos. Even some senior positions are filled by them.
Like I pointed out before, the grand jury should have indicted him and let the trial play out in the open. If he was not guilty then he would have been acquitted.
Karachi can become quite dangerous with hoodlums that are employed by MQM, PPP, PML-N (all feudal/corrupt parties) that come out to the street and destroy properties, force shop owners to close their shops in “protest”, although shop owners have nothing to protest they just wanna do their business, and they set fire to tires, buses, public property.
Karachi is big but these things do happen here and there, and a lot of that violence happens on ethnic lines because the political parties are divided, and the Urdu speaking and Pathans are fighting a lot in Karachi against each other.
So it does happen. Just a few weeks ago, guys came on the streets with bats, and started bashing at moving cars.
Regardless of who is right or wrong, and D6C brings up interesting points, that I did not know (the debate even on the media has been skewed in PRO-Brown propaganda, rather than showing the perspective of the policeman).
Now I bet if Mr. Brown had been some desi muslim none of this anger would be present, there would be no protests.
Whatever the problems the Afro-American community is facing is because of the White people. This sounds very racist to me. I mean, out of all the races in U.S., Black people spend the most time watching TV. Why is that?
There is racism in US but there is slightly something wrong with the black community too.
Now Southie is going to bring up the Muslim Issue. But unlike the Muslim Countries the Black Countries aren’t getting invaded by the US. Besides, Muslim isn’t a race.
What are you talking about? America is founded on African slaves… Seriously, what are you going on about? How is it racist??? You cannot be racist towards white people.
Here have a funny reverse racism comedy
I know the history of Africans in Europe…but this is not what I was talking about. I would blame the capitalistic society of US and not any colour in particular for the current situation. I think South Asians have the tendency to progress and break through the financial class, but the black community on the other hand, has lost hope. If it’s entirely a race issue then it should be affecting Latino and South Asians too…and they should be reacting to it in the same manner as the black community.
I must have missed the part where South Asians were brought over to be gang raped, slaves and just treated like dirt. Also, the new immigrants don’t have a great time either. I wonder why so many Latin Americans have jobs as maids, cleaners, taxi drivers… or you know prostitution.
Remind me again when did South Asians were brought to America… when were they slaughtered like the Ingenious Americans? What do you mean by South Asia exactly btw? Because South Asia is pretty big.
and why can’t black people take those jobs? Why do they have to end up becoming robbers? Why are Latinos, Asians, and South Asians not famous for their crimes and laziness?
