‘Mob justice’
KARACHI, May 14: Residents of an apartment building attacked and set on fire three alleged robbers here on Wednesday, killing them all, police said.
Police officer Amir Shaikh said residents of the building heard gunshots from an apartment where a neighbour had resisted robbers trying to steal his possessions.
A mob of residents confronted the thieves and beat them with burning wood from the oven of a nearby bakery, setting them on fire. —AP

I don't agree with the idea of mob justice, but I don't feel sorry for these thieves either.

The incident needs to be investigated properly, were they really robberers? Incidents have happened inPakistan where eople have been killed malicously after some false accusations.

Its not good thing to take justice in your hand. But in a society where police would arrest these decoits and release them next day with bribe, then these haramkhor will rob someone else the following day and shoot if anyone resist. And they do kill people during robberies to spread the terror among inocent people. That makes their job much easier in coming days. It keeps go on. Nobody is there to stop it. Sometimes people have to stand for their defence. But burning alive was a bit crossing the line in my opinion. They should have cut their hand and a foot so they would learn how precious this life is which they parish with the click of trigger.

Now we have witnessed 6-7 cases in Karachi and Lahore within a week! ...
Although I am against this burning alive stuff ... totally against! some beating is fine with me! ...
Those were relatively small thieves, now its turning into a chain reaction phenomenon, I am wondering if this will happen to our pollutitions (politicians) ... don't you think mostly they are bigger thieves?
Shouldn't they be treated similar?

I do not want to point out any particular thing but our nation has this phobia of declaring all assasinated leaders be “THE AAN JAHAANI” aka Shaheed.
Their deeds are with them and between them and Allah but it’s very easy for us to suggest such a thing even after seeing what happens in one of such incidents…
I myself, too, often suggest to shoot all the politicians after getting frustrated on seeing how they are playing with the country but now I realize that would actualyl worsen the situation more

well these haramkhor chore k buchay have been killing unarmed citizens for petty stuff such as mobile phones. So if they think they can always get away with their acts then guess what ... the dinner menu has been updated to now contain BBQ & deep fried ribs!
