Independent channels from Paki land and abroad have reported the incident with consistency where MMA hooligans have been blamed. Back in 2003, this same MNA from mma was responsible for starting a campaign against a circus which came to perform in this area, end result burning down of the circus.
Since the Govt was spineless in allowing religion to be re-inserted into our passports, our mma jawans now are under the impression that they can get anything done by force. Unfortunately for Pakistan, Bhutto conceded to the reliigious right when he could have resisted, his daughter and ganja NS did the same. Mush & Co are no different when it comes to standing up for what they think is right. May it be the religious column, Hadood ordinance or Blasphemy law Mush & Co would rather concede to the mulla demands on issues which impact the common citizens of this country and yet be willing to cooperate and deliver whenever Uncle Sam demand immediate results.
As for the MMA band, well folks that is what these guys are all about. They come in different shades but basically represent totalitarian form of societies which does not tolerate any form of dissent. They deliberatly paint an aura of piety around themselves which provides them with the religious high ground and excuse to carry out "their: dirty work in the name of religion. MMA could be from USofA representing evangilical christians or Israeli jewish fanatics or RSS of Hindutva, end result is always going to be the same i.e., complete subjugation under their way of life.
Its time such as these when civil societies should stand up and be counted by denouncing such barabaric acts and make sure that it is not repeated ever again. The alternative is a return to the dark ages where women are treated with contempt and dissenters flogged in public that is they are lucky.
