King of Pop Michael Jackson’s funeral would be performed without his brain.
His family has been told that his brain would be held back for tests.
In fact, his family was given the choice of either awaiting two weeks for Jackson’s brain to be returned to them or go ahead and bury him without it.
Los Angeles Coroner’s spokesman Craig Harvey said that neuropathology tests are going to be conducted to see if it holds any clues to the exact cause of his death.
The examination cannot start until at least two weeks after the death when the brain has hardened sufficiently to slice it open.
The brain can also show any past abuse of alcohol or if the singer had suffered from any disease.
I've been watching the Michael Jackson coverage on the news for several days. And looking at the various pictures shown of him on CNN and other channels......I've noticed that although many of his features such as his nose, skin, lips, and hair changed over the years........his eyes stayed the same.
If you look closely at Michael Jackson's eyes, they are beautiful and intense........but they look sad. He's always had sad looking eyes.
He was is in alot of debt.... Depending on how he died his insurance might pay his loans, or other wise his property will be sold to pay his loans. In first case his family will keep his belongings and in the 2nd case his family gets nuthing. So what causes his death basically decides what happens to his property or belongings.
I have heared this story so it might be inaccurate or totally wrong.
When I heard about other celebrities passing away (Princess Diana, Heath Ledger, Anna Nicole Smith, etc etc)....it didn't really affect me much. I find it strange how I feel more sad about Michael Jackson. Maybe it's because in spite of the fame, he led such a sad tortured life. I used to listen to his song, Billie Jean often... but lately I've been listening to his other songs as well and he truly is talented. And he used his fame and money to help those who were less fortunate. Not all celebrities make that effort.....or at least not to a great extent.
I find it disgusting that his father, Joe Jackson, tried promoting his new music label only a couple of days after his son's death. His behavior was inappropriate and unbelievably tactless. Even the reporters were taken aback by his reaction and felt uneasy interviewing him. I hope MJ rests in peace and may Allah forgive him and have mercy on him.
yea i agree you could see sadness in his eyes..i was watching one of his old interviews wid oprah winfrey a few days ago n i cried when he told her that his father used to beat him n tell him that hes ugly n that he never really had a childhood ..sad sighs
Mirch, I know that you were trying to make the point that Daily Mail does not carry authentic news. I had recently seen those rumors addressed on CNN and was just adding to your post the explanation for the “ghost” that I heard on CNN.
All those years I've always had trouble believing the accusations against him. I'm not a fan who has cups and t-shirts and bags and whatever with his image on it or all his music, there are just a few songs and some of his dancing that I liked and I have one or two cd's and some songs of internet. That's it. I just liked his character and his music.
Yet, I felt connected also because of his loneliness, I've been lonely too, even when I was with other people. Being lonely when you are with other people is even worse than feeling lonely when you're alone. Anyway, when he was falsely accused, I felt even more connected, because I've been falsely accused too which also made my life even more difficult.
The memorial was emotional and I've cried a few times, when Mariah Carey sang I cried, when Brooke Shields talked, I cried. I cried at the end, when everyone gathered and sung those two songs, 'Heal the World' and 'We are the world'. And yes, when his daughter spoke, that made me cry too. They said Janet would speak, but instead his daughter wanted to say something.
It was sad, but also a beautiful service. Now we also know for sure he wasn't a Muslim after all, because he will be buried as a Christian, or am I wrong about that?
I watched CNN not too long ago and I don't think that MJ will be buried without his entire brain. The coroners have kept some of his brain tissue for analysis.
Also, MJ's dermatologist Dr. Klein was being interviewed by Larry King. And according to Dr. Klein, MJ did indeed have vitiligo and a serious case of it. Dr. Klein was treating him for the vitiligo. This just makes me even more sympathetic toward Michael Jackson....considering how many people didn't believe that he had a skin condition.
Agreed with redvelvet about MJ's eyes. There was something very special about his eyes I always noticed. They were deep, intense and at the same time very innocent and sad. They seemed to be of a child's eyes.
They should have burried the poor guy soon after he died. Why to keep the body out for weeks n now all these games with his brains etc. He has died is the reality and should be accepted. Whatsoever the reason of his death be, everyone has to die with or without reason. And in this case I do not see any one has killed him. He has died his own natural death.
