SIL is missing since this morning in Pakistan. She was on the way of school and she didn’t reach it. Hubby is now going to do an announcement on TV, cables.

Al - Mu'eed
-The one who brings back the creatures after/from death
-The Restorer, The Resurrector
When any person is missing, this should be recited 70 times in each corner of the house when everyone is asleep in the night. He'll return in 7 days or his whereabouts will be known within this period.
For the return of a missing person:
Recite verse 70 of Suratul Haj 201 times on Thursday night in one sitting.

^-- pray to Allah and read whatever part you want to read from the Quran but with khaloos and heart. i highly doubt the wazeefa to be read 70 or 200 times mentioned above can be found in any hadees.
I pray that sis-in-law returns home safe and sound as soon as possible inshAllah. May Allah swt keep her in his protection, Ameen. Let us know as soon as you hear any news :=)

Ab bijli chali geyi... so jo CD tayar kr rhe the on computer is lost and the computer is dead :( , now he is finding another place where to make the CD with the announcement in order to put it on cable. He has jus bought two generators so that someone (professional) can do the cd on his comp.
Just praying, nothing more to do....

Al Mueed is one of the 100 names of Allah.
Suratul Haj is in para 17 of Quran.
I'm sure people back home are already praying.
As I said earlier that I searched these duas on the net. I'm no scholar just somebody who believes in God's name and Quran. If you're hesitant or have any doubts about these duas please consult a learned scholar to find out what's the appropriate dua to recite. Any dua offered to God from true heart will be answered Inshallah.

i’ll write english translation and roman of some, see if you can find the arabic version in a Dua book if you have any at home. If not, i’ll scan it and upload them inshAllah:
Allahumma rahmataka arjoo falaa takilnee ilaa tafsee 'ainin, wa aslih lee sha’nee kullahu, laa ilaaha illa Anta.
- Oh Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment). Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship but You.
Allahumma innee 'abduka, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu amatika, 'adlun fiyya qadhaa’uka, as’aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammaita bihi nafsaka, aw anzaltahu fee kitaabika, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, awista’tharta bihi fee 'ilmil-ghaibi 'indaka, an taj’alal-Quraana rabee’a qalbee, wa noora sadree, wa jalaa’a huznee, wa tha-habaa hammee.

Laa ilaaha illallhul-'Adheemul-Haleem, laa ilaaha illallaahu Rabbul-'Arshil-'Adheem, laa ilaaha illallaahu Rabbus-samaawaati wa Rabbul- ardhi wa Rabbul-'Arshil-Kareem.
