This is my cat Lilly or should I say was my cat Lilly, she went missing one rainy night in september I’ve driven about like a loonatic at night looking for her, an advert was put in the paper, posters on lamposts, in the ice cream van, in the local shop, a generous reward was offered but I’ve had no luck apart from old ladies calling to sympathise with me and wishing me luck (bless them). She was such an awesome pet. Has anyone else had simular experience with pets.

A number of my cats died/got lost over the past 19 years… I’ve heard when cats are about to die, they go off to a far place where their owners wont see them dieng…

my first pet was a parrot. such a sneaky dude. me and my brother used to pull its tail alot and bother it and it always went “Sqwaaaaak sqwaaak!” in anger. one day we woke up and saw it was dead in its cage…body in a weird angle and very very still. we cried and took it out and put it under a tree by our house and it flew away!
my second pet was a stupid cat that got itself run over by my father’s jeep. was sleeping behind the tires apparently.
my third pet were siamese twins and my mom fed one of them cookies and daal 
and it got food poisoning. and was throwing up all over the house and then it died.
i want one of those furry puppies now.

They say one reason to keep pets is that they take misfortunes upon themselves...If something bad is going to happen to the family, these animals take it upon themselves, so they either die or vanish...That's the reason so many people in Pakistan have 'koondas' on their roofs so that birds and pigeons can feed and drink off them, thereby taking away misfortune...
