Re: Missing in Pakistan

Powerful film, saw it just recently.

sadly not much in terms of documentaries on people who disappeared in the 90s. picked up in one city later found in a diff prison in a diff province etc.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

An evidence of CIA/ISI partnership where the real culprits stay free to operate under the patronage of agencies and innocent people become fuel to show the drama of this so called war on terror....People like Maulana Masood Azhar and Dawood Ibrahim are patronized by agencies and still operate without any hindrance....

All this is being done for CIA/Pantagon to get without any audit hundreds of billions of dollars in the name of war on terror.....the rule of law is being violated on the pretext of war on terror.....if Pakistani agencies become really serious in tackling the real problem the terrorist can not survive for one day.....

CIA/Pantagon is like a mafia operating by creating fear and in the securing huge funds without any audit....use and brain wash people who become toys to secure evil goals for this evil mafia>>>

All this happening by creating fear...

Re: Missing in Pakistan

Sad & you can never say you feel someone else 's pain...you can never feel these people's pain. :(

Re: Missing in Pakistan

Yup, it is sad and it will continue if we keep supporting musharraf and this so called war on terrorism with uncle sam.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

did you see the policeman dragging this woman and a young girl by their hair in the beginning… man i feel like killing that guy :grumpy:

i hate paki police… they are animals

Re: Missing in Pakistan

I was shocked too, I couldn’t believe my eyes, repeated twice it to see what was going on. Then there was this lady Mrs Masood who was protesting for her missing husband and right there in the protest police took away her 16 year old son. What great justice!

Re: Missing in Pakistan

You know guys what is amusing, when ppl talk about the 1995 atrocities in Karachi, people turn a blind eye to that, saying oh yeah it was MQM thugs who were impacted and so if their families suffered a little sue to their laadla's badmaashi what is the big deal. not realizing the impact it had and how many innocent ppl got killed, kidnapped etc.

I wish ppl had seen pics and videos of what happened there as well.

why am I saying this? be sure you know the facts and show your opposition for the vultures of the past circling Pakistan again.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

^ I was in Karachi those days and lived the horror of waking up in the morning and reading headlines of 10-20 poeple killed, body bags found, one party firing at other party indiscriminately killing many many innocents. 'hartaal' every Wednesday (or was it Tuesday?). My own cousin who is religion and has no relation to any party (not even mullah party) was arrested after ranger came running for someone who fired/pathraao-ed at them and grabbed whoever they found... remained in jail for an year or 2.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

In the video above Sherpao:

Journalist: Don't you think liberties/rights of civilians have been trampled?
Sherpao: Whose rights? Terrorists?
Journalist: No, civlians
Sherpao: Terrorists

So is this what he thinks about civilians?

Re: Missing in Pakistan

I was also in karachi at that time, I myself have seen dead bodies on the roads of karachi while coming back from school. We had friends in nazimabad who'd tell us how mqm goons would enter the houses and harass everyone. The incident of khajji ground was by no one else other than mqm. Maybe it is time for people or mqm supporters to accept this the fact that mqm and their quaid aka altaf hussain are solely responsible for the 94/95 bloodshed in karachi. There is nothing they will get by keeping a veil on their eyes and denying this reality.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

Yup, this is just pathetic.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

Oh and one thing more thing that time has come that instead of supporting these political personalities who have done nothing but destroyed Pakistan in every possible way, maybe for a change we start raising our voices for the innocent people of Pakistan who are the victim of this dirty politics. These innocent people are in Karachi, in Lahore, Islamabad, Sawat, tribal areas; they are everywhere in Pakistan and they don't deserve what they are getting.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

sorry, just by calling anyone who brings this up as MQM supporters does not change the facts.

Human Rights Watch groups have written scores about the atrocities committed by the paramilitary and police forces. and I doubt any of them are MQM supporters or consider Altaf their quaid.

MQM ghundas were a reality, and were also responsible for what was going on, but are not the sole party to blame. there is nothing anyone will gain by denying the reality that state machinery laid seige ot the country's largest city and thousands of innocent people were effected.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

indeed, and that is what I have been saying, just dont be anti musharraf ppl, be pro something. because this cycle that you may be waking up to now has been going on for decades, we dont need to go back into what took place in ayub era, but we should be aware of what took place during the era of ppl like BB who are back.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

My sentiments exactly

It’s not a news to me but the police brutality depicted in these clips is just shocking and repulsive. It’s unbelievable. How can anybody manhandle and drag women by their hair in such a cruel way? Do they not have mothers and sisters at home? It’s beyond words. And the poor boy, his only offence was that he was protesting the disappearance of his father. They literally removed his shalwar, they could have atleast spared his modesty and shown some dignity…but it’s probably asking too much of these goons…and none of the hijra public came to the rescue of this poor boy. Like typical Pakistanis they just stood there watching all this unsavoury tamaasha while the thullas manhandled this poor boy.

I really felt for the poor lady Masood who is going thru such great pain not knowing where her husband is and now she lost her only son as well. These bast***s have literally runined her home. They are an absolute disgrace to humanity…bud d’ua lagay iss aurat kee unn subko jinhon nay Mrs Masood aur uss k betay k saath yeh zulm kiya. aur aise pata nahin kitnay hazaaron log hein…

This poor lady was even on the recent Capital Talk Show on foot path with Hamid Mir, Javed Hashmi and Imran Khan. She said that only Imran Khan so far had bothered to help her and was still trying to help her find her husband and son. Hope he succeeds in his mission.

Is our police among the most jaahil, brutal and uncivilsed forces in the world?

I most certainly think so now?

Re: Missing in Pakistan

I don’t know what to say this is just beyond my imagination. This is just simply vicious stuff.

Well I am with the lady masood, making dua with sincerity and from bottom of my heart that all these who are directly, indirectly involved handing over citizens of Pakistan, I make dua to Allah SWT that make these people suffer in this world, and I make dua that they go through the same agony and misery.

Allah SWT is just and their rope is just cut lose for now but this life is just temporary I don’t understand don’t these people have fear of death ? don’t they know they are going to face Allah SWT ? don’t they know they are going to be held accountable for their each and single act?

Re: Missing in Pakistan

This is very SAD…VERY VERY SAD…I pray Allah :swt: give them the worst death ever in this world and than on the day of judgement the burn the highest level of HELL.

Where are the supporters of the government? Where are their chants of God bless this and God bless that?

Re: Missing in Pakistan

exactly my thoughts!

i think we people have lost the fear of Allah SWT and just dont really remember our death as often as we should!

may Allah SWT put all of us on right path. Amen
