Missing in Pakistan

Re: Missing in Pakistan

Can we keep this often abused reference to Allah swt. When would we own our actions?

Suiciders use Allah swt to justify their actions, and so do the criminals running our Madrassahs.

Let's keep this discussion focused on the thread itself. The video is a cut and paste job. They did a half-@r$e job in terms of highlighting all the missing people. It is only at the end when we see a list scroll up the camera.

Showing few demonstrator, police brutality, and one Arabized women is not helping the cause of the missing people.

**Bottom line: Where is the list of "missing", their addresses before they disappeared, when were they last seen? and a summary of their activities before they disappeared?

**

Thank you.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

that would be an interesting read i bet.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

I bet even if the camera did show their "activities" you will shrug them aside as propaganda just like Wasi Zafar said "These are pictures".

Re: Missing in Pakistan

whats your point ? I am saying Musharaf is simply a contract killer, murderer, and he is going to get Inshallah for what he has done in this world and in hereafter! I and you will witness that!

now whats the harm in saying that mr? or do you think this is the form of extremism as well? have i become a fanatic in labelling musharaf the PIG a killer ?

whats the wrong mr. in referencing to Allah SWT, remebernig his name, acknowledging him as the our only RUB, LORD, HUH?

FOCUS ON WHAT ? you are saying its half of the story ? whats the other half ? missing people are just simply terrorists so needed to be handed over to another PIG alike musharaf ? huh? or probably having them stay and have them familiarize witht the great humane ffacilities of guanatamo ? huh? have your lawyers behind the bars so probably the other half of the story never gets to the people huh ?

Re: Missing in Pakistan

yes rebel? you are so true ! btw hmm who is giong to summarize their activities. would you wanna elaborate ?

Mr mushi and his regime? or probably a fax from rice would be a good idea exactly telling what activities they were involved in prior to their sudden desertion right ?

hmm or could it be assumed that they were simply terrorists and thus had to be eradicated from the land of pakistan as we want dollars coming in at a steady pace yeah ?

may be not ..welll you probably are in the better place to give a more detailed answer as i see you more educated on this topic " activities prior to their extermination" so i will leave it with you then for now ;)

Re: Missing in Pakistan

Here is a factoid:

1- If you are a member of banned militant organization, *then you lose your rights as a citizen.
*

2- If you are traveling to tribal areas with no business at all, most likely you are a member of a militant organization, then you lose your rights as a citizen.

3- If your name shows up in a captured Alqaida laptop, you are likely a member of banned militant organization, then you lose .......(well by now you know what I mean).

Tell me if 100 or so missing persons in 160 million country, didn't fit in the three groups. Post their names and addresses right here, and you will get some traction. Otherwise munafiqat will not help anyone, no matter how many times they call Allah swt.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

I don't understand if they are innocent as you guys claimed then why agencies were so much interested in picking them up. I mean they have got better things to do

Re: Missing in Pakistan

I wish they would realize they have better things to do then just picking up innocent people.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

OK! Now this is too much cynicism even for a Captain.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

You are making assumptions, the govt minister flatly denied missing of a single person... had the missing done any of the abovementioned "sins" govt could've told it openly.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

Why are you indulging in semantics like detailed lists etc. Is that the only issue for you here?

Why is it so hard for you to criticise the blatant manhandling of women by some jaahil police officer or fauji? (you just need to watch the first few seconds of the first clip)

And how on earth can you defend what the police did to that poor boy who was just protesting his father's disappearance. How is that a crime? Does he and his mother not have the right to know where his beloved father is? We don't know for sure if Mr Masood is/was (I sincerely pray that he is well if he is truly innocent) involved in any criminal activity. An accused is innocent until proven guilty. Have you no iota of humanity or decency? Have you no basic sharam? How would you react if your own father or brother was taken away by police like that? Would you still be complaining about lists? C'mon man this is too much.

Forget the lists, what we see in these clips is enough to condemn and curse the ha*ami police officers involved in such brutality. This is a serious violation of basic human rights of any citizen of a country.

Re: Missing in Pakistan

testy tesy, all I said was it would be interesting to see what their activities were. You can take it whichever way you want it.

some would take that statement to mean that the activities were nefarious and thus any alleged chitrol they are getting from agencies is well derserved

some would take that statement to mean that their activities were nefarious and they went in hiding when the sensed the heat

some would take that statement to mean that their activities were innocent and they were wrongly picked up by agencies

some would take that statement to mean that these guys were involved in nefarious activities and be upset that govt is stopping these guys agenda.

to each his own, i would say ;)

Re: Missing in Pakistan

Although from what I could see, the police were trying to arrest him and take him to a police vehicle and he was resisting, abd fighting until the last second till he was tossed in, the pants probably just fell off, the reel also showed a cop trying to pull up the guys shalwaar.

if the shalwaar did not fall off, the arrest of the boy was no different than many that I have seen when police are arresting someone and the person resists. hey atleast he did not get tasered like the UCLA kid.

But yeah, Pakistani police is brutal and corrupt, I saw enough of that in the 90s in Karachi.
