Heyy, im back, i had a daughter mashallah, shes very well keeps me up at night, so right now am typing in my slp am sure…
i have asked the nurse the same question im about to ask here, but wanted guppans views too. basically we are flying back end april. now my daughter will have 2 immunisations done, but misses her 3rd one…is there any harm in this, obv she will get her immunisations in pak, whatever is the range there, but shes missing her3rd one so will that negate the 1st or 2nd, as i know they give small doses of the immunisations to babies…
hope the questions making sense…
a delayed 3rd round of vaccines, wont negate the first two.
for the sake of your sanity nadz … do this please.
write down all and exact names of the vaccines your baby would have gotten in UK and take it with you PK.
Im certain it will be the same in Pakistan (immunization schedules are pretty similar worldwide with few exceptions) … but it’ll give you peace of mind to know exactly whats been done AND you can ask for specific things to be administered if they happen to be missing in pakistan.
look the link below …its informative.
Which vaccine are you talking about..??..Hepatitis B...??..You can get her vaccinated in Pakistan. She will obviously be getting the rest of the shots there.
@Sahar02 ... I think of late ... thanks to the PIC disaster in lahore (counterfeit meds causing >100 deaths) has caused people to raise the question of quality of pharmaceuticals in Pakistan.
Its something I had heard about from my husband and in-laws before (things like meds just don't work here, I get better faster with meds brought in from usa etc) but hadn't really believed it ... thinking this was more psychological ... bahar ki dawa is better .... until this particular bit of news broke.
Hehe so you were against it even before you knew about the med issues!
Make your husband/inlays find a trustworthy doc and get the immunization from them..don't you have any doc in your in laws family? Don't miss out the dose for immunization..not only that you should complete the course but you may have a hard time later while applying for schools for your girl in uk, unless n until you sign a waiver for religious or health reasons.
