Why it is so embarrassing for you?
b/c she looks stupid & her Egnlish is bad.
Ufffff people get over it, so what if she pronounced a word wrong, how many times have u been questioned on the spot and got ur words mixed up.
CE, she didn't pronounce it incorrectly, she used the wrong word. If she was iffy on its definition she could have just said 'we dont stand for these attacks' or 'we are strongly against these attacks' but she used to wrong word which is the complete opposite of condemn which means herself and pakistan approve of the attacks.
But it's not only the fact that she used the wrong word; she used it on national TV where she (accept it or not) really is representing Pakistan.

I don't know why everyone is slamming her. She did an adequate if not great job. She said what most of us would have said if posed the same Q. She is no intellectual. It's not really her forte; asking her opinion on such a serious issue was unfair in the first place
though she should have known the difference b/w 'condone' and 'condemn'

She should’ve stayed away from such an “interview”, but she thought highly of her self, self-awarded representative of Pakistan, took the opportunity and got herself some “respect” 
. Its not like she was caught off guard (roaming in a shopping center or attending some party).

very good memory- it was in 2002 that I declared myself the pakistani champion of gulli danda, baraf pani and pithoo garam.
I had also declared myself pakistanis offical cross country ski champion
and..in the same thread i also declared myself pakistans scuba diving champion, iron man triathlon champion, bocce champion 9and record holder),
at one time i had also declared myself the official jai alai champion and record holder

if she is going to claim this title she is a public figure who benefits from the fame and all but also has to deal with critique, especially warranted critique in this thread

Break is only given to legit people who got 'representative' status through hardwork/talent and rose to international level like Inzamamul Haq, but people like this who become self appointed Pakistan's representative and claim "Miss Pakistan" don't deserve a break.
