Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
"as a young pakistani woman I want to show the world we are strong, AND WE TOO HAVE BIG NOSES (like pak men)"
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
notice that she keeps saying condone, which means 'to forgive' i think what she meant was, condemn.
....It's just so embarrassing.
Why it is so embarrassing for you?
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
hahaha she was checking her makeup like 5 times... but anyway good to see people are coming out and saying whatever they are wanted.
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
May be because she is using title "miss PAKISTAN"
and she said she presents PAKISTAN about half a millon times.
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
First off all, I don’t believe she is “Miss Pakistan”, any Salma, Shakila, Neelam can say “I am representing Pakistan”, I don’t believe she was ever officially ‘endorsed’ for any competition.
She mad herself look stupid by speaking “English” so well while using totally wrong word “condone”. I don’t know what “good” she brought in the interview, any clues?
“…as Ambassador to Pakistan…” ![]()
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
hey sidra
didnt see you in a while.
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
Yeah man I also condone the attack. Is she the same "mis" Pakistan who appeared on Nadia Khan Show?
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
what school graduated her?
i mean if you cant use a word properly dont use it..

wrong question X2, you are assuming that she is a graduate and this reminds me of my little (Kindergarten) graduate and poem he signs all the time
I am a graduate, yes its true
I am a graduate, O O O (with O O O he shakes his butt :) )
a little tiny paper, is what u get
u have to be proud, because I am a graduate
I think she should blame it all as a fault of English language… how can they allow two words (condemn and condone) to have two such opposite meanings?? ![]()
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
i guess we have to find the positive and say atleast she did not say condom
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
^What do think, she is Rema??
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
Oh what an embarassment! Condone ....... where did they dig her out from? Bechaari ke kaan bhi standard size ke nahi thai ....
notice that she keeps saying condone, which means 'to forgive' i think what she meant was, condemn.
She said: we do not condone these acts!
I think Y'all got it wrong!
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
well she was confused, as you can see she was constantly fixing her ear piece, so guys dont get serious on her being representative of Pakistan. Or do we really care what CNN is showing?
ps. i did like what zardari said on BBC that Pakistan has no involvement in these attacks. if there is then share those evidence with Pakistan govt.
on BBC urdu (radio) i also heard that he said if Pakistan scientists had connections with Irani or koreans...then they also had links with CIA.
...honestly i find Zardari really witty. All he needs is Hidayat!
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
oh boy !
Well, she is a newbie and definitely needs training in Public Speaking. I was scared and embarrassed for her, but that's only because I can totally understand her situation! There she was, a crown winner, "programed" to make "special appearances", and get paid for smiling... that's what Ashwariya ever had to do (so a misconception to be Miss World). Miss Pakistan actually had to speak out! - ouch
She was actually the first person EVER I saw who had to keep adjusting her earphone! Certainly she was nervous.
Re: Miss Pakistan 2008 on CNN
hahahaha
dont represent me newheree
