indian girls r really pretty and they deserve it..i guess everyone is impressed by their beauty thats why they win every year..think about how many countries represent in this contest
india wins again, well miss worlds is not about beauty n y more it also bout personality the way miss india was talkin we new she was gonna win,i personaaly thought miss kagistan (think i've spelt it write) was pretty.

Cat woman,i know indian names are so confusing to Pakistanis ,miss world who handed her crown to Priyanka couldn't be Lara Dutta,because Lara is indian but another pageant miss universe winner for this year.The girl who preceded Priyanka as miss world was Muktha!

I agree, these pageants are beginning to lose it, I don’t watch them with the same interest I did a few years ago. It is quite kitsch.

Miss India won this contest for the simple reason that it is only in India this competition means anything anymore. In countries like UK, USA, France etc, this competition has been denounced as sexist and portraying women as dumb bimbos.
So to keep interest alive, the sponsors favour Indians where the local population will probably declare a national holiday and crown Miss World as Prime Minister.
I think slavering perv Jerry Springer was the perfect host for this event.
IMHO, the entire contest is unfair to contestants who do not speak English. It seems that contestants from Venezuela, spain, etc, are always at a disadvantage coz they have to rely on their translators - who usu. end up misinterpreting the answers anyway.
What counts is the quality of the answers. If the contestant herself were answering it, she’d form the words more…poetically (for lack of a better word). The translators r just doin their job - they dont put any feelings in their translations..
