Miss Afghanistan? Oh yes, its Miss Vida Samadzai, who represented her country in a beauty contest but was (I think rightly) criticised by most of her country folks for that. While the Americans are busy trying to encourage such changes, at the same time they are busy in making fun of Islamic teachings especially Jehad (Please do look to another thread named Anti Jehad Rocket).
Re: Miss Afghanistan
i remember after the attack on afghanistan america opened cinemas for public and there were huge que in front of the cinema of afghani people for the tickets....
I think Afghanistan is an example of that we should'nt force implying of shariah on people....unless people want themselves for islamic shariah.
Re: Miss Afghanistan
its all good and well that she wants to represent her countary and she aint bad looking either…but obviously there will be much objection against her as so much has happned and is still happing in afghanistan…
by the way did she win anything…
**PS: SHE ALSO GOT TIME TO GET A BOOB JOB…AND NOT EVEN A SMALL BOOB JOB…HOW FUNNY…
**
Re: Miss Afghanistan
mmm. I think this is soo lame and desperate. Sure its her right to do whatever she wants to in an independent manner but to involve her homeland and culture/relgion, is dishonoring her to the country and religion(which doesnt support such type of glorification). Same thing with the Pakistani beauty pageant, fine its all sensational and new, but it doesnt serve the interest of the countries values and tradition. And also, worsks against Pakistani society and represents the extreme end of the coin( one end being violence against women and female beauty pageants etc.. the other)
Samadzai and all Muslim women who participate/encourage such things, are a disgrace and shame to all the rest us self-respecting Muslim woman
Re: Miss Afghanistan
agreed
and u can add, desperate, cheap, class-less, un-Islamic, low-self esteem, dishonourable, misrepresenting, wanna-bee(gori/indian) and Cheap(again)
