Why are we comparing apples n oranges here? Misbah and Fawad are totally two seperate styles. Yes Fawad should be in team but at the same time, Misbah's contribution in team is immense. Fawad can be compared with Haris sohail or hafeez or Sohaib maqsood. Now lets talk.
Misbah has sounded the death knell for the sleeping pills industry with his scintillating presence at the crease.

The truth is we never actually got to see real display of Misbah's classics.

You are writing as if I am against Misbah and do not like him in team, but I am not. I think Misbah is better than most Pakistani batsmen, but in the end, he is not a good ODI players and certainly not a good ODI captain. if that hurts you than it is fine.
Actually, when Misbah became captain in 2011, Pakistan ranking in test was 6th with 94 rating points and was ranked 6th in ODI with 101 rating points. Today, Pakistan is 4th in test with 103 rating points but gone down to rank 7th in ODI with 95 rating points.
So, even though Pakistan improved in test but deteriorated in ODIs ... even though most teats and ODI Pakistan played under Misbah was in UAE.
ab tu confession statement bhi day dee hay aur Misbah ko retire bhi kerwa diya hay, ab bachay kay jaan loo gay kya??? :D
