Re: Mira - A Rebellious Rajput
Shukracharya also called Bhargav was Maharishi on the side of Raskhas, he knew Mritunjay Mahavidya, that could bring life to dead soldier whare as his rival Devguru Brihaspati coundn’t do so. Brihaspati’s son Katch went to Shukryacharya and introduced himself as son of brihaspati and grandson of Maha rishi Angira, Rakshas kill him while he was in jungle and mix his flesh in wine, and shukracharya loved wine. Finally katch reaches his stomach. not finding katch for a longtime, shukrachary’s daughter Devyani asked him to invoke mahamrritunjay vidya, Katch get alive in shukracharya’s stomach and says he can’t come out, hence Katch is taught mritunjay vidya, he comes out killing shukracharya, later he brings life to shukracharya. Kstriya like Bhagwan Ram also was meat eater.
Not only nepal even in every kali temple killing a buffalo or goat is norm, including Kamakhya temple in guwahati, Assam. But now Brahmins are not supposed to eat any meat or drink wine.

The Shukracharya story I have head. But had forgotten after so many decades, So thank you for bringing it back:)
The story only shows Brahmins drank wine (or Shukracahrya did). I dont thinn he knew meat was mixed in wine. So is it not true those days Brahmins did not eat meat?
