Brahmins are/were the most intelligent race in the sub continent. Majority of Nobel laureate are Brhamins and mathematician like Ramanujan, even Great Allama Iqbal was cousin of kashmiri pandit Sir Tej Bahadur Sapru. the always saved Hinduism from idological threats that emerged from time to time. First was Buddhism, it has non violence ideology even at the face of enemy who is about to kill him. So brahmins thought they should relinquish meat and wine and maintain holy status equally hence they left these things. Bhagwan Ram was kshtriya educated by Brahmins like Maharishi Vasishtha and Maharishi Vishwamitra, Vishwamitra was kshatriya and later turned brahmin. Brahmin was the “gun”, qualification, and even if god takes birth he has too bow in front of brahmin. Brahmin means the intellectual leader of Brahmand, universe and his intellectual is of brahm, god, the only part of human that is as infinite as god is Brahmin’s intellectual and his conscience.
Even though Brahmins are cursed the most in India, but their sacrifices are great when compared to any other forward class, Majority of freedom fighter were brahmins, poorest of all forward class, they were always genuine mass leader including 9 prime ministers out of 14 in India.
Bhagwan Ram is khstriya and kshtriyas never abstained from taking either wine or meat
