Doesn't Q founded by Musharraf? ;)
I am truly amazed with u ppl, and it sadnes me
Both BB and NS came to power twice, did they not. What did they truly accomplish?
Nothing!!!
Let’s talk about Benerzir Bhutto, since she has lot of supporter amongst the corrupt masses.
Question, does she really and truly has concerns about the lives of people of Pakistan… it doesn’t seem like it. But I guess some of you BB supporters are going prove me wrong please do... OK lets say she does, so what on earth is she doing here in the UK. O’yes I forgot she has cases pending, and has also failed to appear against charges that were filed against her.. So she’s has been found guilty. Which if am not mistaken she has become a “criminal”. So if she turns up in pakistan she will be arrested.. Well why not. She not a special case now is she. There’s a lot members within her party who keep repeating the same old track that all charges and against BB and NS should removed and be allowed to return to the country… Why? Do they they not have any respect for the “LAW” this so sicking… These are some of examples what’s giving Pakistan a really bad name..
I don’t know if you people keep up with the news of Britain. But not so long ago even the likes of the Princess Margaret the Queens daughter had to attend court and and face charges at the Magistrates Court.. what am saying is pakistan should learn from the west just as the west took its learning from the east
Now lets go onto President Musharraf, what’s so bad about Musharraf that you people keep crying about..
Oh I guess he has made difficult for the crooks to siphon all the reserves that he has managed to Build up.
Musharraf has governed the country truly well, result - Economic revival ...an International standing etc etc....
Why don’t just get over it...
The problem with Pakistan politics is it truly sucks u make a mockery of democracy...
Ppl complain about the Generals.. what you ppl fails to realize is that its these same Generals who place there lives for the security of Ppl of Pakistan against the enemy ...
Had it not been for these same generals your situation would have been worse than the poor souls that got massacred in Gujarat...
Just look at the west what ever there faults are, what they have, and that u ppl truly lack is UNITY...
For god sake change .. start for once to think about Pakistan ...
Pakistan Does not need the likes of Benzir bhotto or Nawaz Sharif and there cronies they had there chance .. they have blown it... Game over !!!!!!
Pakistan has a new government.. That’s reality full stop.
Your bickering is not going change anything… UNITE and take Pakistan to totally a new dimension. That you people could be proud of.

** We dont have any trouble with Musharaf but his greed for govening Pakistan after Sept 11 and measures he took to control them are highly objectionable.. how can any Pakistani with dignity can impose a single person upon himself who can alter Constitution single handidly.. his joining in war against extrmist bigots was a great step and I admire it but after that Musharaf's sole purpose was to remain as head of State .. **

** Do u knoe corruption of generals is hundred fold more tahn politicians.. plus their crimes against peopel of paksitan are too much..
- Mass murder and rapes in East Pakistan and ethnic cleansing by them in 60's
- Real killing and oppression after 1983 MRD movement..
- Ojri Camp debacle.. killing and harrassment in twin cities of Islamabad/Rawalpindi.. when they set Ojri Camp to fire to safeguard their loot and arms smuggling.. -Direct involvement in drud dealings and smuggling in 80's
Besides they take oath to defend borders and not to occupy their own homeland.. turning our beloved country a mockery in the eyes of the world! **

Democracy - bring it on
http://www.dawn.com/2002/11/28/top1.htm
Nisar Khuhro, the Sindh PPP president and parliamentary leader, claiming comfortable majority, regretted that rulers had not learnt their lesson from the 1970 incident and were determined to once gain impose their will on the people.
“Why isolate Sindh and act on the whims of an individual? They are pushing the people of Sindh to the wall without realizing its dangerous consequences,” he said.
The PPP and Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal were in a late-night session discussing the government’s “undemocratic” move.
According to sources some “patriots” had arrived in the city reportedly on a special mission.
sure, why would he have to worry … as long as the only man with a real vote in the country does not sneeze..

Jamali not perturbed by MQM decision
By Our Staff Reporter
ISLAMABAD, Nov 27: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali appeared unimpressed by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s withdrawal of its support to his government and said he would continue the dialogue process with the opposition groups, including the MMA.
Talking to newsmen at the Balochistan House on Wednesday about the MQM’s decision, the prime minister said: “I have no knowledge of such a development and what I understand is that they have said they will sit on the opposition benches in the Sindh Assembly”.
Earlier, the prime minister received a delegation of notables from Balochistan.

Ok, but you should realize that the people in power right now were part of the PML(N) and had posts in the previous government. It wasnt just Nawaz Sharif in the previous term, sonny, ppl like Chaudhry Shujaat had posts too.

Ok, since she got the highest number of votes from the people of Pakistna, you are saying that the majority of the masses in Pakistan is corrupt. What a stupid remark.

Cases run by who? First it was Nawaz Sharifs judges (once particular case was suspended as they found evidence of Nawaz deliberately telling the judge to charge her) and now by musharraf chamchas. Why should she return if we have judges on Musharrafs payroll, who would even validate a dictator and declare the LFO to be valid.

I suppose Musharraf and Shujaat have alot of respect for the law. May I remind you that he was also part of the operation spearheaded by Nawaz to attack the supreme court, the most prestigious institute of Pakistna. Your beloved Musharraf chamcha Tariq Aziz was also video taped destroying bars of the Supreme Court.

And the thugz from PML(Q) should be spared eh?

I dont care how many reserves he piles up by borrowing more and more money. The condition of the ordinary man in his regime has worsened, and the 'mehangai' problem is at its peak. Things such as the defence saving certificates, which were the middle class people's only hopes were also lowered to make the lives of the people worse.

Yeah, and the fact that a military dictator carries out an illegal referundum, puts himself in power for a long time, hand picks his chamchas during elections, changes the constituition without the parliaments approval does not make a mockery eh?
Ppl complain about the Generals.. what you ppl fails to realize is that its these same Generals who place there lives for the security of Ppl of Pakistan against the enemy ...
No, its not the generals son. How can about 100 generals in Pakistan do that, they live luxurious lives. Its the jawans and lower ranking officers who place their lives. Generals like Niazi only make decisions to give up.
Had it not been for these same generals your situation would have been worse than the poor souls that got massacred in Gujarat...

Yeah right, the generals in Pakistan are preventing the massacre of Muslims in Pakistan, what a stupid comment.

Democracy does not mean that we unite in the face of a dictator and support his hand picked chamchas.

We do, and this does not stop our voting rights.

It also does not need people from the same parties whom you are against.

Without the 10 lotas from the PPPPP, there wold have been a deadlock, and this government will not last. The moment they make a decision against the military dictator, or the opposition unites, they are history.
Your bickering is not going change anything… UNITE and take Pakistan to totally a new dimension. That you people could be proud of.
Yeah, and Chaudhry Shujaat is going to lead us to a new dimension, what a joke.
Didn’t you voted ‘Yes’ in ‘Rigged Referendum’?
So, you agree Military has blown off PPP atleast.
Hey, how about the same 10 lotas join hands with PPPP again to make the Govt.? Wouldn’t Benazir love that? ![]()
.
PT, I dont think you understand what I said, so here it is again. You think that things like the LFO and the referundum are constitutionally valid, I dont. Something that is not passed through by the 2/3rds majority at the Parliament (a democratically elected house) cannot be legal.
Can these beloved lotas of your make it to the parliament without a PPP ticket, no. I know you love uncle Musharraf and uncle Shujaat, but anyone who has any political knowledge about Pakistan knows these PML(Q) crooks really want. You can celebrate and pretend these PML(Q) thugz are angels, now that your beloved dictator elected them.
You agree to what this Aman2k said, and even said his post was excellent. Go over what he wrote again, he said the majority of the people of Pakistan are corrupt as they voted for Benazir. You agree with him on that, shameful indeed. I know you keep posting merely to increase your post count, but do actually read once in a while. And btw, I voted yes for the poll here, merely because at that time there was a big India vs Pakistan thing going on, but that does not mean you assume I voted yes in the real thing. Doesnt really matter though, he got 99% votes, and people like you actually believe that is true, heh…

First of all, FYI, I back LFO because it does support rights of women. Secondly, how many political parties support rights of women? For my knowledge, no one. Women you see in the Parliament, most of the won their seats as an Independent Candidates. No political party gave women tickets. Pakistan's society has been dominated as a Male Society, despite of 52% of women.
Pakistan needs women workers to eliminate poverty, spread education, which is why I back LFO and amendements of Musharraf somewhat. Only one amendement I don't like to take anyone in custody for upto 1 year. But it seems like it's working.

It was 98%. I knew it Musharraf going to be rigged referendum as he wasn't famous among Pakistanis, not even now. Perhaps, his supporters are mostly in overseas, which is why I voted YES because for me, Musharraf is a Champ in handling foreign affairs and in domestic, he's somewhat.

There is a lot more to the LFO then just women. Do you even know what the clauses in the LFO mean? I doubt it.

So women in the administration will decrease poverty, brilliant. In case you didnt know ANY CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS MUST BE PASSED BY 2/3RDS OF A DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED PARLIAMENT, AND NOT BY A MILITARY DICTATOR.

So he rigged the referundum, you openly said hes not popular amongst the people, so why do you think he should be a president? Who cares about overseas supporters, there are fewer in number, and even the poll at gupshup, consisting of overseas Pakistanis got 60something% votes, let alone 99%.
