These victim tactics to instigate the emotions of our respected Urdu speaking community are not going to work anymore. the allegations are much more serious than quota system, and tax kha jana rantings. MQM has to answer some very serious questions such as:

1) Why did they write a letter to Tony Blair to disband ISI.. ZM has produced this letter as an evidence.

2) Are they conspiring to break Pakistan as ZM has alleged under oath?

3) If as Saleem as suggested ZM was working against the interest of Urdu speaking population, why they were a part of such government?

4) And most importantly they have to answer they evidence ZM has provided against killings of innocent Karachiites. It's not a joke, 5000 innocent lives are lost in past one year.

There should be a judicial probe to find facts.. This is no way to justify that because PPP gangsters were land grabbing Ahsanabad, therfore MQM gangsters were justified in mass killings. This attitude of supporting criminality must stop on the pretext of wrong doings of others or victim rantings. Everyone must answer their crimes without relating it with the crimes of others.

I have no doubt in my mind that an overwhelming majority of Urdu speaking Pakistanis are very patriot and do not support criminality under any pretext. The allegation of conspiring to harm motherland Pakistan is a very serious allegation. If proven any political party which is involved in such acts should not be allowed to practice any sort of politics in Pakistan.

I am not saying ZM is an angel. I am not saying that his allegations should be taken on face value. But a serious enquiry should be conducted in the light of all the evidence provided by him.. and culprits should not be spared. This is very important for the sake of Pakistani people in general, and Karachiites in particular who suffered the most in all this scenario.. and have much to lose if this criminality and killing does not stop..!!!!

Zardari himself is a lot but also have so much ugly gathering around him like Babar Awan,Rehman Malik, Manzoor Watto,Farooq Nike and new addition Pervez Elahi.
With all those idiots why we are expecting some thing , in the better interest of nation from Zardari.

KARACHI: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has rejected all the allegations that were made against him by former Sindh home minister Zulfiqar Mirza.
However, Malik admitted that many circles of his party pressed him against the Lyari operation but he said that the operation was being conducted upon the directives of the President and Prime Minister.

**Rehman Malik said that MQM is the representative political party of Karachi and the allegations against Altaf Hussain are baseless.

**Talking to a press conference at State Guest House, Malik said that 103 culprits have been arrested in the Lyari operation and hundreds of weapons with hand grenades were also seized.
Speaking about allegations charged by Zulfiqar Mirza, he said that Mirza is his younger brother.
Upon a question about the absence of his assets in Pakistan, Malik said that I have my home in Pakistan and I also did business outside but there are no corruption charges against me.
Rehman Malik said that DG Rangers Major General Ejaz Chaudhary will take charge of the Rangers.

SC begins hearing case on Karachi unrest

Karachi: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has started hearing suo motu notice about Karachi unrest. A five-member bench, comprising Chief Justice Ifikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Ghulam Rabbani, Justice Amir Hani Muslim, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Jsutice Nasirul Mulk is hearing the case in the Supreme Court Karachi registry.

Babar Awan is representing the federal government. Awami National Party leader Bashir Jan also reached the court with his counsel while Jamat-e-Islami and Sindh Bachao Committee representatives have also approached the SC for being a party in the case.

Sources told The News Tribe that Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq have presented reports of Intelligence Bureau (IB), The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other law enforcement agencies regarding Karachi law and order situation. He prayed that certain IB reports not to be made part of court record and also should not be issued to the media.

The bench expressed dissatisfaction over the reports, saying they were routine reports and contained details of old arrests . “How can the reports eliminate crimes” the bench remarked. It further observed that, in most of the cases accused were released.

During the hearing Inspector General Sindh Police Wajid Durrani told the court that more than 100 ethnic groups were living in different parts of Karachi and violence often erupted due in these areas.

The IG also provided details to the court regarding the number of killings, torture and stuffed in gunny bags.

Strict security arrangements have been made for SC hearing in Karachi. Heavy contingent of police have been deployed out side the court.

Hahaha, its beleived by whom, don of London. Population of Karachi is 12 million not 20 million.

Its time to break Karachi into 5 cities, each with different name, redefine the boundaries of NA and PA seats to ensure representation of majority of its people who are hostage to a militant organisation.

Pakistan is such a mess. While the rest of the world is busy with economic progress, GDP growth and tech innovation, we are busy what -- fighting ethnic, political and international battles? It stinks. Wonder when the masses will wake up and shun all these scums like Altaf and Zardari and for once think abt the future of their kids.

Yeah we saw that recently when Italy, Greece, and other countries in European Union reached at the verge of Default and their ratings were down-graded, additionally, US was on the top of the list, when its AAA rating eas downgraded by S&P. other major economy comes to mind is Japan who in-kind suffered from the natural disaster followed by latest American recession... do i need to say more...

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain is under treatment in a London hospital for the last one week, said a MQM handout issued here today.

Altaf Hussain who is being treated by the specialists is recovering.

MQM Rabita Committee has appealed to all the workers, mothers, sisters, elders, children and the people at large to pray for his complete recovery and his long life, not to give ears to the rumors and maintain unity in their ranks.

Rabita Committee has also expressed its thanks to the President Asif Ali Zardari, Federal Minister, Rahman Malik and other dignitaries for sending the bouquets and enquiring about the health of Altaf Hussain.
