My brother has downloaded 4 volumes of this British sitcom from the seventies and mid eighties
I had never heard about it till I just randomly clicked on one of the episodes.
It’s funny (in a british way)
The series is about an english evening class for foreign students (China, France, Germany, Greece, India (both Sikh and Muslim), Italy, Japan, Pakistan, Spain and Sweden)
Oh I used to love watching that show when I was a kid!!! They used to show the re-runs in Pak I think. Gosh I miss that program :(
Where did your bro download it from?
i agree with Mr Xtreme, Fawlty Towers is great, it is without doubt one of the best comedies British TV has produced, my favourite characters are Basil and Manuel, they were really good together, like a double act.
Yep, we use to watch it on my Mamoos b&w t.v. It use to air at 9:00 pm on Thursdays. I think the paki character was Mr. Ali and his famous phrase was Blimmy or something like it...I think there was a Paki woman too who was totally paindoo.
hehe..a funny one indeed. I think there was a hindi remake of this one in India, "zabaan sambhaal ke". The original is by far the best. I remember the episode where they play "I spy"..
Dang it!! That site takes ages on my PC to download anything! Plus if you log out of your account, it stops the download
Maybe it is available on amazon on dvd.
