kewl, good to see that people who are not comfortable with the faith they were born into embracing what they feel is right, whether they arrive at it themselves or thru preachers.
same goes for the larger number that are converting to Islam each year.

My thoughts are very simple. People will embrace what they like. Reasons could be intrinsic or extrinsic.

thats probably the reason missionaries have been arrested in places like afghanistan and India in the last few years. Opportunism is fine, I mean if someone wants to convert because they see it as a source of opportunity, thats their choice, coercion and manipulation is not kewl though.

I've heard from people, especially those working in afghan refugee camps, that people will convert to hear out the missionaries, and promptly go on to their old religion.
Such complaints can be heard from any missionary who offers something...be they Muslim or Christian.

i dont know what people get from moving from one faith to another???
They still have to work ..their luck will remain the same..
many people will argue that they feel near to god after changing their religion. but its just the state of mind .
keep on doing the gud work(help poor and needy,seek knowledge,respect elders) god will appera within u.

This thread is just as silly as all those about the masses converting to Islam. These “my religion is better than your religion” or “this religion is better than your religion” threads don’t prove anything.

This is one old news but nothing is authenticated till date, well waiting for some more authentic information.
As for this i stick to fraudia's comments well, i dont know what the west is upto one side we have some bunch of jokers slogging hard, and shouting Islam is the fastest growing religion other hand we have millions leaving the religion, and add more to that the the reductiong due to death's caused to muslims.
I still wonder how come they are 1.48 billion muslims, or is it 1.3 billion. Allaah knows the best

Well, let me tell you the question is not about my religion is better or not but whether which religion or way of life is the Truth, and if its the Truth can it be attributed as the Way of life God wanted us to be or not.

exactly buddy, i agree… converters just try to increase their numbers(convert) by telling that others will burn in hell…or suffer in damnation in most of the cases at least. and some stupid morons believe it and fall into that trap.

I feel dsp, well if you are an electronics engg we had a subject related to this. Forget it, i feel instead of sifting and baiting to non-islamic website my personal advice is please do look into islamic websites.
The website you are referring to two main scholars are Sam Shamoun and other one William CAmbell, well the latter was made a laughing stock by one of our scholars and he accepted it.
Well, these articles seem good but to someone who is looking out for the truth, would be rational, reason himself and would not fall into this trap.
