Exactly right, i feel personally if someone has to convert or i should say believe in something particular. Should not do it coz of some allurement but because of his/her own conviction, reasoning rather than blind belief. Should believe in any ideology with good knowledge.
Well, let me tell you the question is not about my religion is better or not but whether which religion or way of life is the Truth, and if its the Truth can it be attributed as the Way of life God wanted us to be or not.
My post was a simplification for kid-like posters. Obviously truth = better, no? But posting conversions and such does not demonstrate the superiority (or truth) of a religion.
But in reality nobody really knows "The Truth", at least to the extent that they can say that theirs is the only way of life God accepts or not. It is opinion, pure and simple. It is faith. You may think it demonstrates conviction in your beliefs to say so, I think it is childish, self righteous and naive.
Who would want to convert to Christianity? It is no different from heathen religions, it is pure Avodah Zarah (Polytheism and Paganism) disguised as an Abrahamic faith.
A lot of hungry starving people around the world will pretend to convert for money and then repent and revert back to their former faiths, if ever someone became disillusioned with their faith they would become Athiest because Christianity doesn’t even seem worth it.
I’ve heard of men pretending to convert to Ahmadiyyat to come to marry British Pakistani Ahmadi girls and come to England and then they revert back.

Answer as expected
Intellectual capacity = 0% and Bashing = 100%. My answer leave you alone and happy with your set of beliefs.
To you. There are several billion other clear thinkers around the world who would say the same thing about your religion. I could give equally insulting reasons as to why, but let’s just say they have their reasons, which are not necessarily any less rational than yours.
I’m sorry that you interpret my acceptance of all religions as equally valid as “bashing”. No one can say theirs is the only “truth”. Each person should be given the respect to be happy with their beliefs w/o others telling them they are going to hell or otherwise don’t have a clue. Talk about the lack of intellectual capacity.
damn…by agreeing with me on this you took away all my fun:naraz:
i am surprised also that a ‘slave of allah’ agreed to this. Perhaps, it is because that you have come under the influece of kufrs since they are more in the country you live.
Answer as expected, well i live in India and thats what i mean. I believe in this concept, coz i have gone through this experience. Something which is the truth has to be agreed.:halo:
You are right. I stick to my point repeatedly raised.. a person can follow any belief but his way of exercising his belief should not be cause of nuisance to others. Asserting that my faith is superior to others is the root cause of the mess entire society is in.
I dont believe those Muslims converting to Christianity are in the Millions.. If it were that high, it would be far more visable...
I dont go to the mosque and im not relgious, but I have met far more Christian converts to Islam then the other way around... Infact, I think I have only met one person my entire life, and im not sure if they converted or just left.
Still. if people want to convert, its up to them.
Maybe its not visible in muslim countries because of death threats whoever leaves Islam. I remember this case of Afghani guy who was going to get killed if the international communities had not intervened.
I live in the US… And have been for a very long time… Hence I have met Christians converting to Islam…
But yeah, Muslims are very intolerant in many ways… Thats something that will take a long time to correct. Perhaps this so called clash of civilizations will be good in that it will forcce many Muslims to evaluate their beliefs.
