This will not be considered Berlin Wall if Pakhtuns were left alone - we are content with the status quo. The current situation of Pakhtuns are synonymous with Germans of 1945 regarding the division. Pakhtuns have no animosity among them same case was with Germans but non-German divided them with the Berlin Wall, similarly the non-Pakktuns are imposition this Fence on Pakhtuns. We don’t care about Afghanistan, Pakistan or India as long as we are left alone - geography doesn’t mean anything, geography always changes.

Furthermore, if you consider India your arch enemy, then why you are dancing with them every evening on the Wahga border and why you have diplomatic relation with them - How do you justify that Afghans should not be friends with them?

Secondly do not use the word “we” when you mention paktuns. There is a clear divide between Pakistani and afgan paktuns. Pakistani paktuns are proud pakistanies and they have no problem with any fence or wall. But yes, a few bacha khani and afgan refugees like you do have problem with it… Just like Afghanistan have right to be friends with any country, Pakistan also have right to do anything to secure and adress its interests and borders.

No Pakistani Pashtun of KPK wanted to change KP into Afgan province
A Pashtun leader of Baluchistan talks about this but it is his political move only to keep himself popular in Pashtuns of baluchistan
almost 33% of KPK population now live in other provinces of Pakistan ans permanently settled there . This issue may be in your mind but not on ground

You are getting personal and calling me refugee. The case is the other way around my friend. I am the son of soil, there is a high probability that your parents came to Pakistan from India in one dhoti as REFUGEE/panageer and we give then pana. Its like a Chinese immigrant calling Native American that he/she is refugee.

FYI: Afghan is another name for Pakhtun - Afghan is synonymous to Pakhtun. Every pakhtun is Afghan but not every Afghan is Pakhtun. I don’t want to get into that discussion.

As a Pakhtun from tribal area who has relatives on both side of the Durandline, I wholeheartedly disagree with the Pak decision to create a wall between me and my brothers across the border. In this day and age, where borders are eliminated, creating a wall between 50 million Pakhtuns does not make sense and certainly deplorable. This is similar to the Berlin wall and can backfire. What do you think?

Yes Malakand it does not make practical sense because say for instance the wall is built tomorrow! it will be breached by underground tunnels like they have on the American border many many tunnels supported by drug money!

And we have lots of drug money in Afghanistan too in addition to India and the USA supporting radicals to keep the wars going!

Just 7 miles from KPK , at least 25% locals of the area are Pushto speaking
Whole life passed with Pathan friends , I know Pakhtons very well , They are not sick people
Alive , hardworking and little hard but care values , I am sorry but I am doubtful about you
You are not a Pakistani Pakhton perhaps

Hard ground reality is, Pakhtuns from Chaman never licked Afghanies, whether they are Pakhtun or non-pakhtuns, they attributed them as kidnappers and child molesters and thieves…
Wazirs and other agencies of FATA have suffered alot and lost to many of their loved ones to have and lived in reign of fear and lawlessness…and feels no sympathy towards others side of the Borders…as it remind them nothing but painful memories…
These Afghans who are known for their dishonesty and ungratefullness may have a Russian on their head had it not for Pakistan… Russians would have wiped them by now and they may had merely remembered any connection with Pakhtun tradition…as Russians did with Uzbek, Tajik and others..

Now coming to this Malakand guy, he probably is another selfish or self-centered person if not sold his soul to India like his so-called brothers in Afganistan has done…

So we are going to build the fence…call it Berlin wall or Wall of Zulqarnain to contain the mess of Afghanies…and this country will kick a$$ of any Afghan lover who would weigh them over a Pakistan..

Pakhtons on the both sides of the border are different , It is not only story of Pakistan , It is a story almost 150 years . Durand line itself is 124 year old and satellited by British & Afghans . with the passage of the time , the both are different communities . Our side Pakhtons are proud Pakistani . **There should be as many crossings as they need , Facilitate our brave Pakhtons need , but legal , Our NIC can be treated as passport . **
other side should be asked to bring a digital ID
