I doubt that our sellout leaders can even imagin such a thing.. However search on Nicolas Maduro Foreign Minister of Venezuelan he was illegally detained at JFK airport it was reported all over the place. Latter US state dept. offered a public apology to Venezuela, it was not because US respects any laws or protocols it was because Shri Chavez started doing similar little things to Americans.

Solid point , that one … What ever the stories in motherland , thats an internal issue. But when a country invites senior officials of another country , they have no choice but to respect them and host them with ettiquette … which in this case was clearly missing.
It really is an issue of paranoia, if one passenger had issues , they should have removed that passenger instead of insulting the guest senior delegation. I am glad the officials came back. Serves the Americans right. Its high time, we tell them we are not a door mat , even though our politicians are bent on proving that we are

^^ that is not "aid" that is reimbursement. and yet less than half. Pakistan first spends on so called WoT, and then claims for reimbursement, which is then audited and many things deducted from it, and then paid in many installments, which are not even completely paid
