Secondly, as far as the tuban bomb cartoon goes, that is something that is offensive to Muslims, as its specifically taught in their relgion that such depication, in fact any kind of depiction is haraam. I dont even think it would have been a big deal if it were simply a picture, as we do have pictures of the prophet. The problem was that it was not only a picture, but an insulting one at that.
None the less, I have no problem with it. People can be insensitive, but free speech is what it is.
As for the painting of a the nude goddess.
Can you tell me where in Hinduism nudity is proscribed? We can find passages in Islam that condemn pictorial representations of the Prophet, but can you show me where in Hinduism it says depiction of Nude goddesses is wrong?
And again, India is an apparent secular state which atleast on paper guarantees free speech. So why should you people have a problem with this artist?

As for Qatar, of course he cant depict the Prophet in any pictorial form there. Its a Muslim country , and such things are forbidden by their religion.
