I could not let go the original poster's comparison between the two. It came as a shock so I had to respond to that part of his post.
Regarding Imran Khan's comments, as I mentioned earlier that I am not a fan of his as a politician. I think that is wrong choice of words. What he meant to say was, as someone else mentioned above, bhookay nangay despite having all the money. Like the greed to have more and more, amass wealth and lead luxurious lives while the poor population of Pakistan struggle to earn a living to feed their families. This is what he meant but chose the wrong words to express himself. Which gave a good chance for the mafia's supporters to deteriorate his reputation as a politician.
Obviously, outside forces which are against Pakistan's stablization would hate to see a non-corrupt Pakistani come into power. Even if he came into power, he will still not be a successful politician but a successful phalentropic. And that is what I feel he meant also, that Pakistan does not need POLITICIANS to fix things but honest, loyal people who give to the poor and not take away from them to fill their own pockets out of greed.
Indian public understood this decades ago but outside mafia never wants Pakistani public to understand that because that would mean, Pakistan would no longer remain a 'developing' country going to worse.
Well that may be true. MQM like many other political parties is not a small group of saints. They do have their fair share of goons. However the discussion on "goon-ness" of MQM is not the topic of this thread.
The original poster simply wanted to point out Imran Khan's statements about Pakistani poor.
