KKF to khair Mir Taqi Mir reincarnated hain, aap ne Urdu ko kaise sanbhala?
Re: Meri Pasand ki 10 Ghazlen / Nazmen (madz124)
I love Urdu, aur jis cheez ka shoq ho usay seekhne/karne main zehmat nahi lagti. In primary school, I had a very ruub-wali Urdu teacher, Miss Razia. She made me class prefect and all my class fellows used to call me Teacher ki Chamchi. Ek dafa mujhe un se takhti bhi pari hui hai, ultay haathon pe, not because I was a bad student but because I couldn’t keep the class quiet when she was out during school hours. Growing up, I would call her “Rajia”
and everyone in my family started calling me Miss Rajia to irritate me.
My grandfather wanted me to become an Urdu/English professor. Shayad Pakistan main rehti, tu my life would have been very different.

Gham na kar, zindagi pari hai abhi.
Mujhe ultay haath pe takhti khani pari, app ne koi hamdardi ka izhaar nai kya?! :o karoor singh!

I hope she is OK. I wonder about all my teachers from pak and wonder where they are now, how life is treating them.

if they are not retired by now, they may still be there in the same school. why don't you send a letter to them at their school address and ask them how they are doing.
i visited my school a couple of years ago in India and they all look older now and those who were older have retired. i visited my classroom and the library where we used to have so much fum...yes, fun in the library! lol

I met my high school principal on my first visit back home, mainly because her daughter had been my class fellow and a close friend. I would love to reconnect with some of my favorite teachers if I ever visit for more than two weeks a time.
I highly doubt most of them are still teaching. They are most likely married and tending to their families and potentially holding private tutoring lessons at home.
