i didn’t expect to login ever again and comment on any poetry but i like this ghazal a lot but ehsan sb i dont agree with your description of the shair specially this part “he is not expecting his love to return” he does not mean to say that he is not expecting his love to return, for me a poet when do poetry means he has hope, and hope never die, meray khayal may explanation yeh hai
agar is ko mahboob k hawalay say explain karain tu shair kehta hai k har sham meri is umeed may khushi say guzar jati thi k woo aye ga, lakin aaj ki sham may kuch aisi baat hai k umeed meray pay hawi nahi, bal k is sham may kuch bat hai k mujhay kuch yaad aa gaya or us yaad pay rona aya k wo sham or aaj ki shaam aik jaisi hai faqat mera mahboob meray sath nahi hai, or yehi baat ronay ka sabab hai…
agar is ki dosray andaz say explanation ki jaye tu wo aisay hai (an other view of the shair) insan jab jawan hota hai na tu us may bari energy hoti hai , us ko bari expectations hoti hain bari umedain hotin hain zindagi may, jawani ki har sham aik umeed or expectation say bhari hoti hai k kal aisa ho jaye ya kal ko kuch aisa ho ga, but jb wo burhapay may pohanchta hai or us ko khayal ata hai k may nay zindagi kaisay kamo may guzar di hai jis say zindagi ka maqsad hasil nahi howa jo insan ka ultimate goal hai Allah ki taraf say tu burhapay ki sham may usay apnay kiyay pay sharmindagi feel hoti hai, khonay ka ehsas hota hai or wo pichtaway say rota hai k haye wo sham or yeh sham, waqat aik he zamana badal gaya k may nay zindagi ka haq ada na kiya…
i am open to critics but i hope somebody understand how to understand poetry in different aspects.
it’s nice to have a different view on the poetry and I would say that none of these are wrong. Thanks for your contribution which is much appreciated. Look forward to more of your comments.
