Classic example of a superb starcast but senseless and pathetic story, dialogues and direction.

hmmm....adnan only came in like few scenes so for me he didn't left much impact, and i just don't like to see faisal as a gay director SPECIALLY when i am seeing him in meri zaat zarra-e-baynishan and how great he is doing there, this drama totally ruined faisal qureshi's image.
Characters different from usual, show the versatility of an actor. Faisal qureshi is doing a great job in meri jaan. He looks so different in this character than the role he is playing in meri zaat zara e benishan.

It's not about what character he's playing, what I like is how he's playing it.
When I first saw him, I was like oh goodness.. but he is SO funny and is doing such a good job of it!
As for Adnan, I haven't seen him do a love-my-wife-to-death character in a long time, and I found him so adorable in a loverboy type role. He should do them more often.
^ gag! i didn't like faisal qureshi in that role at all maybe because i am currently in love with arfeen role and at the same time i didn't wanted him to play a gay :( sara image kharab kar diya arfeen ka :(
..........anyways i just finished watching 7th episode. aliyana who was in so much love her husband hardly cried for him in 2 scenes and after that she acted so normal like nothing has happened.
and i just don't like how slow that drama is. it's freakin 7th episode and hardly anything has unwinded. agar suspense drama dikhana tha tou thoora fast hona chahiyeh tha. i am gradually losing interest in it. i hope they come up with something interesting to keep us interested.

I found that one scene so pathetic and forced, when humayun picks up nadia jamil and walks her to the beach house. OVER and FIMLY. She's supposed to be in love with her husband and grieving his absence. Her natural reaction would've been to slap him across the face when he'd tried to pick her up. Very un natural!!

this drama is really bizarre. I can't say I like or hate it. It's just barely average. I mean BARELY! What a waste for Nadia Jamil and Humayun Saeed. Esp. Nadia
^ great choice of words doree, that scene was def. forced. i don't know what kind of culture they are trying to show, even in america if someone randomly picks you up, you would file a sexual harassment case on him.

Haha actually now that is a flaw in the storyline itself. This serial is a sickening copy of Judith McNaught's novel 'Someone to watch over me'. Bluntly, Babar Javed and his team really are in a way plagiairising because they do not acknowledge the original author or give due credit to her at all. Anyways, that aside, this point -the fact that Aliyana/Liegh doesn't think twice about her husband after his demise and goes roaming about with AzfanDiar Haq/Valente-did raise quite some critisism from the readers of the original novel. I forgot what Judith McNaught said in response or maybe I don't want to tell you guys coz it will likely spoil the story.
Even though I know the plot is terribly unoriginal and so not gripping, I still watch this eagerly. And mind you, its only because of Nadia and Humayun. If it were for Babar and his creative endeavots, I would have given up on it way before the first episode.

As baseless as this serial is, I can't help but watch it. And the past few episodes has me going bonkers. sigh I love the Humayun-Nadia pair :D Eagerly waiting for next week...7 more days! :(

^ dude i cant watch bool meiri machli like that. it is amazingly depressing. and it is keep gonna show bad things happening to all the sister. i mean seriously, when in life does bad things happens like that?? ALLAHTALA is rehman, raheem. we do have sadness and bad times in life but they do stop eventually but in dramas there is no freakin end to depression.
