Beautiful thread but I would just like to say that I think there is a differnce between ‘Ayahs having profound impact on you’ and ‘favorite ayahs’
We cannot/should not differentiate between the ayahs of the Quran. This, ofcourse, would not be same as saying ‘such and such ayah had an impact on me and my way of life’
WaAllah ho Alam. Maybe I’m wrong?
