I find english translation very hollow, firstly because it is a foreign language and secondly translations are quite old …

Usually most of us do not ponder over the verses ( me too ). But some verses are so captivating and powerful that they make your heart skip one or two beats…

Thats what happend when I can across this chapter..

Sura Taqweer verse number 7, 8. The address is so heart wrenching that I can not imagine how people of that time would have responded to this.

though, the translation can not explain the acrimony for that action, contained in the verse. Still one can imagine how some listener who had performed the grevous act in the past, would have reacted at that time…
