and honestly by hiding the facts about the holocaust will only hurt the jews in the long run.If 50 or 100yrs later the true facts are known somehow and the total # of deaths come out to be less than 6 million lets say 1 or 2 million
imagine the backlash it will have against the jewish community.
All the extremists will be vindicated even the genuine victims will be forgotten
so isnt it better to re-write a historically accurate account of ww2 and its atrocites

Before the present problems in palestine jewish-muslims relations were never that bad.This is and always has been a political issue
some of the biggest abd most vocal critics of Isreal have been secular arabs like saddam and Nasser it was only when Pan-arabism lost its appeal did they make it into a religious issue

The europeans have been saying that they are “civilized” people and Muslims are “barbarians”. europeans say that a person should be free to make fun of or satirize Islam freely in a civilized society.
Now Muslims are saying ok, a person is free to make cartoons of what ever they want. Now they are holding a contest on holocaust cartoons to see if freedom of press and speech also extend to make cartoons of holocaust. The hypocrite’s now says you are not free to make holocaust cartoons.

BERLIN - German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Wednesday sharply attacked plans by an Ironian newspaper for a Holocaust cartoon contest.
“To ignore the Holocaust in this way and to denigrate the victims is not just tasteless but also a provocation,” said Steinmeier in remarks to reporters.
Steinmeier said he could neither comprehend nor understand such a move.
German law bans denying the Holocaust or causing offence to the memory of Holocaust victims.
Earlier, the German government said it would not close its embassies in Islamic countries which have been hit by violent protests over the publication of cartoons deemed insulting to Muslims.

Is it not **hypocritical **to demand respect and then your best to insult others? Another example of how 'an eye for an eye' is a failed doctrine.

The German Foreign Minister (oh, I'm sorry, 'whitey') is protesting by issuing statements, not burning down buildings and threatening people who had nothing to do with it.
Tasteless can now be applied to Iranians and other groups who see this tit for tat as some type of retribution.
Let's face it, if there were ever any moral high ground for Muslims on the issue it sure doesn't exist anymore.

You mean close their eyes to freedoms that Danes love. Denmark does not have holocaust denial laws, you can say whatever you want. Danes have no need to subgujate themselves to Islam.

Um, you might want to get your facts straight before you start saying such things. Take a look at Islamic history and I'm sure you will be surprised. Please, do not mention the Quran unless you actually understand what is written. Taking Quranic ayas out of context is extremely easy, yet a childish way to point the finger, but an excellent way of totally misunderstanding what is being said.
