Poor bao. My sympathies with you. Nice to know there are guys who actually do lower their gaze! WHen I went to Pakistan I had slips sewn with all my bareeze' suits and my cousins were like...are you okay? Who wears slips under cotton! May be you should privately record one of those conversations that take place after they leave and have it delivered to them. That should give them a jolt!

agreed

coz most ladies would never even imagine that guys r thinking all this!!!

LARKAY to NIQABION ko bhee naheen chorte yaar...GUYS r just perves by nature...trust me on that...even if u r wearing full chaadar or burka they r gona pass comments

its just the DECENT ones wont

agar hum ne itni fikar karna shuru kar dee we'd be sitting at home inside chaar deewaaryaan...

i used to care a lot abt these things but aap kis hadd tak jao ge? u r just gona bind urself in a shell.

now i wear what i want as long as i myself think its decent...as for guys, im like matti pao to whoever is a perve

ofcourse i dress properly alhamdulillah...but i dont dress SUPER conservative...coz if u r working and have to interact with ppl u do have to keep up with current trends

it would be easier if men had more self control

like yaar, fine, everyone has their own limits...

i think wear dupatta properly and wear shameez, that is a must...i dont wear above elbo sleeves either

but come on, shirts agar fitted na hon it looks sooo unsmart....its like u r dressed in a LIFAFA!!

in our office girls wear western clothes and sleeveless too, the decent guys dont stare, the perves do, bas itni si baat hae

:-)

jazakallah for replying ....

i will consider each of these comments ....inshallah ...

khair i did some thing new today....

there is a lady who normally wear white shalwar kameez with no ...

and keep on coming to my room...khair aaj wo aai thee ksii kam kay liye ..and aasked me can she get her pay bit early ...i knew her name but asked what is ur name ...wo baycharre harain ho gae ..kay sir aap ko abhi tak mera nam nahin pata ..i said yaad nahi rehta her nam ....

faida ......her normal trips to my room reduced from 10 to 1....

sunna hay doosron say kaha hay ..bara mughror hay ye ..iss say to baat karna fazzool hay ...

bus ab yahi karon ga .....rookha pheeka banna parra ga .....

Irem ...

haan gee ..most guys think like this ...aap kay samnay to shareef ..per baad main ..ALAh ki panah....

MAtusi .....bhai dont try hard ..u wont get it chanda.....

Respect to you Bro.

Actually in the Jumma Kutba the other day, the imam was talking about the importance of lowering the gaze.

I think its important that men should at least try. It may be hard in todays environment but Allah knows whats in your heart.

i agree sister… dat its so hot … lekin kya boys ko garmi naheen lagti… have you ever seen your male coulleagues wearing a “banyan & bermuda” in the office? … garmi doesnt mean that we should start wearing see through outfits.its nice to wear shameez and a dupatta … but wats the fun in wearing dupatta covering just your neck area?as its not meant just for fashion… its to cover your body. girls says… jab shameez hi pehn’na hai tau halkay kapRay pehn’nay ka kya faida :smack:

alright… if they do so… yeh laRko ki ghalti hai and they should really be punished… lekin agar laRkiya’n wohi karain jo bao behari ne bataya… kya phir bhi laRko ki ghalti hai?
as far as the self control thing is concerned… kya laRkay farishtay hain?.. decent se decent laRka bhi aissi situation mai ghalti kar sakta hai… isnt it?.. zaroori hai keh agar koi laRka acha aur decent hai tau usska imtehaan bhi liya jai?
Irem sis… i appreciate your views in different threads regarding life and lifestyles… i am very happy to see dat you have very paakeeza thoughts regarding all this… i agree that most of the boys are like wat you think… but is it necessary still to give them a chance.
I have been through all this so many times… during my school/college and university days… and even after that in my practical life… girls even wont let you ignore them.jab mai ignore karta… tau mujhe inhi laRkiyo’n ne "maghroor’, “khud ko kuch samajhnay wala” aur "baRay baap ki bigRi huwi aulad’ jaisse khitaabat de daalay. :smack:

i dont know whether ppl here will agree with me or not…but if anybody has any arguements in their mind against wat i said.. please dont argue :)… as em not good in it… thanks

^well said. Some of your points are meritorious :k:

Bao Bihari: Respect for you brother. Lagay rahein aur apnay aur mere liay dua karein. Aameen

bao ji, can i be ur chapRassi?
i,m ready to work on just roti kapra and khana. Please let me know, so I could send in my resume.

array bhai kapray ka he to masla hay …uss ki hi to kami hay …

No reservation … nearly my thoughts…

Kahnzadah …inshallah hum aik doosray kay liye dua karain aur sath main apnay liye dawa karain

:k:

I appreciate ur sherm-o-hia. but remember you will be uncomfortable as long as you ignore it.

Next time when it happens ask her ‘ur bra must have been shrinked a bit, is it made of cotton?’

or

‘why your skin color is different down there?’

I am sure it will work.

:rotfl":rotfl":rotfl" :hehe:

bao jee, I got a solution for you!!!

You said you were the boss. So from tomorrow, issue a letter saying the all women must wear “burqa” to work. Sorta rule of the office (or accounts dept.). Strict measures against anyone not following the office rule!!!

If you really are as “uncomfortable” about it as you make it sound, you wouls have ordered this before consulting us. Anyway, if it didnt occur to you, now you have this suggestion. So… what are you gonna do :hoonh:

OMG!!!
yaar bhao bihaari, i kinndda have same situation here in university in usa, i know ur problem is a but more dangerous than mine.

because problem is we r not supposed to look at women at all rather than what u r talking about....

now my problem is meri university larkiyoon sey bhari hoi hey, and sometimes, aik class mey hotey hein to baat wagaira bhi karni parthi hey, and often i get into same situation as you.

i'd say jub office mey daakhil ho to 4th kalima parh lo and try ur best to keep ur gaze lower..INSHALLAH, ALLAH hifazat kariengey, kyoonkey bhai insaan key bus ki baat nahi hey key shaitaan sey buch sakey, ALLAH hi bucha saktey hein, just think of it as ur test....

secondly i would say, just tell in ur office to strictly abide by some sharia cloths law.
i hope it'll work out :)

haan haan abb sab farishta bano yahan aakar.
u guyz aint fooling anything :snooty:

Bao Bihari bhai I appreciate your thoughts. In today’s day and age it is hard to find people who actually feel uncomfortable around women wearing sheer outfits :k:

I am a girl and I feel very uncomfortable when women around me wear such sheer material. I really wish they would wear something underneath. I noticed it a lot in Pakstan when I went - there is no concept of a slip or a shameez..astagfarullah!

If there is an HR department w/in your company maybe you can get in touch with them and lay out proper guidelines on how men and women should dress. At our company we have a certain dress code that we should follow. If you are one of the influential people w/in your company maybe it is time to bring a change. If your idea gets shot down atleast you tried and may Allah (swt) give you the ajer for that - ameen.

didnt u say u were the boss or something...well cant u have a dress code? n i dont mean it sarcastically but REQUIRE them to wear something professional

I HATE stuff like that…uuurrrggghhhh…aurut ki beasti hoti hai yaar…:mad2:…i mean if i am to wear summit see through i always wear summit underneath like a tight strapless clothing…or if i do wear tight tops i wear a jacket on top etc…what is it with these girls?..…dont there parents tell them off or somthing?..

Well said, most of what I wanted to say :k:

In my view it is not issue of Garmi or something. In pakistani summer Guy wear shalwar suits made of cotton and also ladies wear cloths of same material. If guys can wear undergarments (baneyaan) then why cant ladies wear proper undergarments ?

Also cotton is quite thin, most of the times it is see through. So when you wear see through cloths(with no proper undergarments) and then calling the guys pervert is actually quite unfair.

These perverts dont actually make comments about properly dressed decent ladies. They actually respect them
