Mera masla .. ;-(

:salam:

** Background **

i Lead accounts department of a big organisation …Most of the employees in my organisation are women ..and most of the ladies are highly educated in thier respective fields ..

MAsla

Mera maslaye hay kay …i have to coordinate with so mnay women …an accounts department have too…but the problem is that most of those ladies dont care what they are wearing …i mean what they are showing which they should not show …

like they normally wear very fine clothes …letting others see ( intentionally or unintentionally ) what they should not see …and worse of all some of them dont even wear some thing under there kameez…making it look more bayhooda …it is fine with other employees in my department ..they enjoy this ..and make fun of th ladies after they go out of the room ..but me being not of that type normally gets frustrated … i try to lower my gaze but ladies keep on saying * sir app meri baat sun rahay hain na … * ab main un ki taraf daikhon to phunson ..na daikhon to alag masla…

Then some wear very tight clothes making one part of upper body much more obvious then other …and kuch wear big necks …so that when they bend on my table to tell me some thing ..show me some document …to wahi masla ho jata hay kay daikhon to phunson …na daihon samnay to sir idher daikhain …

i know most of women dont even realise what males are thinking about them ..magar atleast they shold wear proper clothes …

khair ..pata nahi main apni baat sahi convey kar saka ya nahin …tell me how to get out of this situation ..i want to lower my gaze ..dont look at na mehram ..magar office main kam kartay hoay daikhna parta hay ..theek hay ..magar atleast wear proper clothes …

i have barred them from coming to accounts department without any reason …magar un kay maslay bhe itnay hain …i want loan ..i want this ..i want that ..kay still i have to tackle many of them each day …

Curse me …but plz tell me what should i do …

should i leave the job …

Do you work in Pakistan? Don't they wear dupattas to work? If someone is really making you uncomfortable, then why not get a chaddar and give it to the girl. Perhaps she will get the hint and avoid you as it makes you uncomfortable.

Give chadder to around 80 such ppl......???

no most of them dont wear infront of thier chest ......and some dont even wear it ..

lahola...i dont belive kay kabhi ye batain bhe karni parrain gee.

Poor bao. My sympathies with you. Nice to know there are guys who actually do lower their gaze! WHen I went to Pakistan I had slips sewn with all my bareeze' suits and my cousins were like...are you okay? Who wears slips under cotton! May be you should privately record one of those conversations that take place after they leave and have it delivered to them. That should give them a jolt!

Recording what others say ....? .... meray apnay kan (ears) garum ho jatay hain jub wo baat kartay hain .....now they dont even talk in front of me ..as i am there boss ...but overhear at times ....

what pisses me the most is ..jub wo samnay hoti hain to they give them so much respect ..then after they are out of room ...just make these remarks ....hypocrates..

Bao Ji, it seems to me that you lead the Accounts Department in Janat-ul-Firdus. I am stuck as the head of operations in Dozakh, and you have no clue what babes wear here, and it is hot man.

Exactly as was expected ...app sahi jaga per ho .....

I can relate to that Bao. I also don’t understand why some women dress like that, especially muslim women.

I can’t think of anything really.

What about saying to them directly? I think that’s the best way. Are you a superior to them?

Or find a lady who understands you and when such things happen ask that particular lady to tell the lady who was revealing too much when talking to you. (like “you were bending and we could see things we should not see” etc) A lady telling a lady seems to be okay I think.

OH! what a desperate situation :teary1:

Re: Mera masla .. ;-(

oh waqaee ye tu bra maslla hai!!
I don’t think you should leave your job just because of that!
try focusing on their faces while addressing them or if any paper work involved focus on that. Avoiding them will not solve any problem, infact will cause other type of problems. and obv. you can give a chadder but can’t force her to wear it! can any one??

lets switch jobs.

Yeah Bao…your life sucks man…Have you thought about taking sanyas? or becoming a yogi? DO you end up taking undue trips to the mens room and locking yourself in with a roll of tissues?I feel bad for you.. :flower1:

bao your masla is really not a masla at all unless kay aap ko kuch kuch hota hay.

agar kuch kuch hota hay then your niyyat is kharab.

agar kuch kuch nahi hota then you arent really a mard.

apun bola na lets switch jobs, i would tremendously enjoy your position and will take full advantage of it.

I sort of understand how you feel.

Have you considered wearing lightly tinted sunglasses? How about just looking at their faces, and if they hand a document to you, dont look down while taking it, and immediately put it infront of your face or turn to the side or something. Perhaps ask them to email you all inquiries, and leave papers with secretary which you will look at later.

Try to get other ideas and see if anything works. If you still feel very uncomfortable, look for a job that has mostly male employees or something.

jisai kaat sakai na aaree, usay katai hai bihari shabash brov’ :k: u did ur job by lowering ur gaze, leave the rest up to allah subhana wa ta’allah concentrate on ur job, in this day ‘n’ age ppl don’t take friendly advice or constructive criticism very well, so if u were to confront those “khuli” auratein, they mite spit it back @ u nowatmesayin!

leaving won’t :help: ur cause, 1st of all finding a job in pak ain’t easy, as beroozgari is on the rise, even ppl with top degrees can’t find suitable employment in pak so count urself lucky + who can guarantee that it won’t be deja vu @ the next establishment u join…

all the best bud’

“khulli auratein”: I am beginning to get a clearer picture of the male mindset vis-a-vis women in Pakistan. Thanks guys..keep up the good work.

Why don’t men take scolding irons and blind themselves once they reach puberty, so that they won’t have to masturbate during office hours.

breathe brov’ BREATHE… only a small minority would think like me and bao back home and abroad rest assured the remaining majority get a buzz out of all this and they appreciate it all just like u.

look, if they want to show it off, then u see them ankhay phaar phaar kar. its not ur fault that they are not dressed properly.

dekhanay k liyay kar rahee hai to app dekho..balkay sab k saamnay dekho.. aur if they bitch about u staring at them then tell them straight up to dress properly.

intee si baat hai bao ji. khamkha pareshan horahay hai app.

DANG

r guys really THAT perverted? :frowning: [referring to ur male colleagues]

:frowning:

ok now i have to be even more super careful about my dressing… :S

great!!! aik to its sooooo hot…larkyaan kya ghar se na niklayn? why r men such perves

its very hot these days and some girls don’t wear shameezes coz its sooooo hot…personally i always make it a point to dress modestly…

bao ji i am impressed that you do lower your gaze, may Allah swt increase your eemaan brother  maybe this is a test from Allah, if you can go one level above, and control yourself one level above, that even if they are right there talking to you you can still ignore what they are wearing etc and keep your self in check? i mean, what if u were to go to america tomorrow where women wear much more revealing clothes? the key is to have control over your ownself…jahad-e-nafs…wish u the best of luck :k:
