menu for one o fthe iftar i did was:
Iftar:
dates
pakoray
chicken cheese balls
apple shirkhand
Channa chaat
plain yogurt (some like it with channa chat)
vermicielli squares
date milkshake ( only males tryied it and liked it but females did not even bother to try it out)
water
Tea
dinner:
Achaar chicken
Chicken qorma
singaporian chicken
Daal
fried rice
roti
no salad as in most my dawats nobody even touched salad, i even try making simple green salad but people hardly even touch it.
dessert: Trifle with homemade cake
tea again

I have hosted two iftars so here are the menus!First iftar:Starters: pakoras, seekh kebabs, keema rolls, chutney, salad& tandoori drumsticks.Mains: chickpea pilau and aloo goshtDessert: strawberries, mini donuts and muffins, summer fruit pavlovaDrinks: mango lassi, mango juice and mini bottles if j2o.

the guests loved the food ... I intentionally made nearly one piece per head for the iftari items .. so that they wouldnt stuff themselves ... mashallah they loved the variety and we had a nice evening.

Went to a Sehri Party this morning and there was soooo much food!
bread, croissants, bagels, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, 5 different kinds of cheese, different types of eggs (scrambled, omelet, etc.), waffles, muffins, brownies, chips, fruit punch, cinnamon buns, a lot of fruit, fondue, potato wedges, cake.
There was honestly so much food that i didnt eat more than have the stuff! The party started at midnight so everyone loved the snacks :)

really? my friends and I have sehri parties all the time! Its usually an all night party.. a lot of fun :D
