I was in my gaon this summer and I was struck by a fact: all women here are thin, even those with many kids. They work hard all day long and walk for long distances. Where are the fat women who supposedly are fat because of some disease or a wrong amount of hormone? Same goes for men. There weren't any. Most obesity is because of bad choices and bad lifestyle. And since my tax dollars are paying for their treatments and medications, I have a right to be politically INcorrect.

^ na, not always SS. I have a very good family friend who had a pretty serious medical problem.. i think his obesity (or watever) was a result of some tumour.. once removed, he shrunk down to like a waist size of 28...

Sarah I would only agree with you if you mean the folks who purposely throw away a good life and not care about themselves. If they purposely sit at home and eat and not work out. Those dont deserve our pity or such because they should be looking after their health.
However, there are causes for some types of obesity, and these are not the person stuffing their face all day.
These are serious medical issues. Many of which we have not even heard of. For now check my link.

hey hey, they are still potential muslims and can go to Jannah. Only Allah is the judge. Only Allah decides who is pious and who is not. May be, brother Lajawab has a mission, that is to convert those good looking ladies into muslims. I am sure there is a big reward for that…

I like both, and i think there is a link between appearance and mind in most cases.
but not all skinny ones are intelectuals but they can sharp on things including lieing, cheating, on contrast some chuby ones are more blessed on mind side and less likely to lie or cheat.
getting fatter by giving excuse of genetic reasons is wrong in 90% of cases.
its just personal eating habits plus lifestyle that can keep a person fit and healthy. with or without a workout.

yes more pretty ones - can get carried away with attention they get and that lead them to this kind of behavior, but its not judgment for all.
sure it doesnt depend on waist size to be bitchy, you can find in all sizes!;)
but you can also find nice ones in all sizes too!
