All along I thought if you start menstruating after having spent more than 1/2 or 3/4th of the day, your fast would still count and you wouldn’t have to make it up.
On the contrary, I found evidence supporting armughal’s claim: If her period begins before sunset, even if it is just a moment before, her fast is invalidated and she has to make it up
