Can you please do the world a favour and make sure that wifey can drive the darn thing with a decent level of skill?!

I have come across so many women that are unable to safely navigate parking lots or even drive their monster-size SUVs. I pass a dozen of them every morning. There they are…timidly looking out over the steering wheel that is often no more than 4 or 5 inches away from their chest. The barely have room to turn and look over their shoulders without banging their chins on the top edge of the wheel.

The thing that I fear the most is that if these women are startled by something, they have a weapon the size of a house on wheels to hurt someone with.

I was told by one man that he wanted his wife to be safe and that’s why he wants her in a larger vehicle. I respect that. But seriously, she would be a lot safer if she could drive.

Argh!

My wife hates driving my mid-size sedan, she complains it's too big. She gets the small car.

My wife does want to drive sedan but kids wont go to school on it but she can handle it pretty well.

We had a custom van, you know that 2 ton vehicle with sofa bed and TV/VCR and all the chairs are captain chair and you can almost stand inside it. I am very proud to say that my wife used to drive that around and did she drive that with amazing skills or what. In fact to this day, Niks always drives the bigger vehicle of the 2 that we own at any given time. She used to drive Buick when I was driving Tercel. Than I had Impala and she was driving the full size custom van, and now the minivan while I still have that Impala.

good TLK....I wouldn't expect Niks to drive like a timid mouse.....but there are plenty out there that do.

But man I used to fill the whole tank in 10 dollars back in mid 90's. How many cars or even rickshwas can claim that ..

I have seen my share of bad male drivers too. Over confidence is a bigger killer than timid mousiness :D

I have been driving my sister’s SUV around for a week now and I hate it. Its huge. I can drive it well and am super careful with it but I can’t wait until I go back to the Corolla. Its small, can be shoved into small spaces and so light!

It does make me feel small and skinny though like Gaia mentioned…:cb:

My Chevy Tahoe rocks! Not to mention, it just about the only thing we could find to accomodate 3 car seats AND the double stroller!! Lol!!!
