I think it kind of depends…if a wife is trying to maintain herself with whatever time and means she has, or maintains the home or tries to be a good cook the husband shouldn’t be so crass as t compare her. What matters most is the effort she puts in to saving money, keeping a good home, taking care of kids, keeping herself fit, whatever the things the husband finds important..
But even to use them as an example, is dangerous territory. I wonder how happy these men would be if their wives kept comparing them to other men.
