Your cousin is probably too old, or may be she didn't try hard enough to get back in shape.

And she did plenty, she was positively a stick even after 3 children. She was fine before she married my ass of a cousin.
What I meant to say is that she put the same pressure on herself as you seem to and her husband constantly made the same "motivational" remarks as you say yours does. Didn't last did it? He was tactless and made her feel like she would be unattractive if she had the slightest fat on her. And she became obsessed with being skinny and always worried about her husbands comments.
